I opened my eyes slightly. I could barley keep them open. I was in some room, the lights were dim and it seemed really empty. My back ached. It was in so much pain. I couldn't remember what happened last night. Was it even last night? How long was I even out? I heard a door open and I tried to see. My vision was blurry, maybe because I was squinting in a way.

"Sungmin?" the familiar voice whispered. I smiled at him. I could tell he was about to get all sappy.

"Kyuhyun, you came? That's good." I laughed. He walked towards me and I heard him sniffle. He punched my arm and sat on the ground.

"You bastard! Leaving without saying good bye." I couldn't tell if he were mad or sad. He sounded as if he were laughing and crying at the same time. I put my hand on his head and stroked his hair.

"Well everything is fine now." I whispered to him. I closed my eyes.

"Nothing is fine! You got shot in the back, you nearly burned to death! You should be happy I came just as the fire started." His voice was cracking as he talked.

"You were there? But the flight?" I could hear my own voice trail off.

"Where's Sun Hi?"

"She's in the hotel with Linda. You've been out for about two days. I was worried you wouldn't wake up. Do you know how worried I was?" he started yelling.

"You were really worried. Just like how Eunhyuk worried about Donghae for two years. Donghae was out for two years because he got shot in the chest. Eunhyuk waited for him for two years. But since they weren't in the same country, it made him worry more." I said to him. Kyu stood up. I could hear he chuckle a bit, it was also mixed with crying.

"Exactly! What if that same thing happened? We would have the same story as them! I don't want to lose you!" he laid on my chest, holding me tight.

"You could've been in a coma for two years. Sun Hi would be devastated." he whispered. I stroked his hair once again, his hair was quite soft.

"Well, I was out for two days, there's a difference. Two days and two years." He hugged me tighter.

"Don't leave us again. Don't leave me again. You've left me so many times, I don't want that to happen again." I smiled at him and he cried some more.

"When have I ever left you? Excluding two days ago."

"You left right before we were going to go to the states. Before we were engaged. You know, when you knocked me out or something." he responded.

"I forgot about that... Promise me you won't follow me when I'm working. It causes problems." I said to him. He let out a small sigh.

"I can't keep that promise. I never keep your promises. We break them all the time." he laughed.

"Promise me that you won't ever say you love me again. Promise me that you won't fall in love with me. Promise me that you don't like me. Promise me that you won't get involved with me in anything." He said. I gave him a confused look, or so I think.

My vision was slowly getting clearer.

"That's what you told me to promise you that one night. I broke all of those promises, but there's one promise I haven't broken, and I don't plan on breaking." He whispered.

"Which is?" I asked quietly.

"Promise me that you won't ever leave me." he whispered once again. I wrapped my arms around him and held him tighter. I could feel his tears drenching my shirt. Sadness and relief filled the room.

After about thirty minutes of being in each other's embrace, he finally got up and sat on the edge of the bed. I stared at him, with my vision fully clear.
