I hurried up the stairs to Kyuhyuns office. I checked all the other rooms and no one was there. As I opened the door a figured stood in the middle of the room. Only one light was on, it was like a spotlight on this person. The one thing that was odd was that the man was on his toes. I approached him and he didn't move. I looked up and saw a rope from the ceiling. I slowly moved to the from of the man. I stood and stared at him, he hung himself. I felt sick to this sight, I wanted to vomit. I've seen dead people so many times, but never one that died from suicide. I sleepily backed away and hit the wall. I don't know why, but I had a rush of emotion hit me. I started weeping as I slowly slid down the wall and sat down. I couldn't help but cry. I don't know what was going on. I could hear my parents screaming at me. If I never killed them, I would've commuted suicide too. I cried harder and heard footsteps run up the stairs and enter the room. I looked up and saw Kyuhyun. He ran to me. As he got closer, he stopped and looked at the man. He gasped and looked back at me. He bent down and comforted me. He stroked my hair as I cried into his chest.
"It's okay." he whispered to me. I cried harder into his chest. I couldn't stop myself from crying.
"Appa!" I heard a faint scream. I looked up at Kyuhyun and he didn't move.
"Did you hear that?" I whispered sharply to him. He shook his head.
"Appa!" The scream was louder. It was Sun Hi. I stood up and Kyuhyun still remained in the same position.
"What's wrong?" he asked me.
"Did you not hear the scream?" I asked. He shook his head confusingly.
"Min Appa!" the screams were getting louder and louder. I looked at the door, that where it was coming from, outside the room. I ran out.
"Where are you going?" Kyuhyun screamed. I stood in the middle of the stairwell, waiting for her to scream once more.
"Appa!" Now she was shrieking. I heard it up the stairs and ran up. I looked around. She was still shrieking appa but I didn't know where she was. I ran to every room but no one was there. As the shrieks got louder, the more pain I felt in my heart. I kept hearing the screams but couldn't find out where it was coming from. I ended up screaming and covered my ears. I fell to the ground screaming. The tears returned to my eyes as I screamed more and more. Suddenly, there was a fun shot. It came from the roof. I stood up and ran to find the stair case that led to the roof.
The door was locked. I banged on the door but it wouldn't budge. I grabbed the paper clip from my pocket.
I'm happy Kyu taught me how to pick locks with a paper clip.
As I stuck the clip in the hole and did what Kyu told me to do, it opened. I ran out and stood up there. The cold wind made me stop crying. I turned my head and saw a familiar figure standing there. I slowly walked towards it and noticed that it was no other but Taeyeon.
"You finally found me, took you long enough." she laughed.
"You're so stupid... first you shoot me in the back and now you're here? That was so unexpected." I said with sarcasm. She glared at me, obviously not amused.
"I bet you were surprised that Linda's on my side, right?" she asked as she walked closer to me.
"No not really. I'm not shocked or anything... These things always happen to be in the movies. It's always the assistant that is a traitor. This isn't new Taeyeon, please stop sticking to those clichés." I shrugged and she looked really pissed off. I wanted to enlighten the mood a bit, I guess it wasn't working...
"You really are something..." she yelled over the loudness of the wind.
"Sun Hi is just like you, you know. Smart remarks, I guess it runs in the blood..."
"I wouldn't say they're smart remarks..." I muttered loud enough so she'd hear. She let out a sigh of frustration.
"Why aren't you comprehending with me? You're suppose to say something like 'give me my daughter back' or 'why are you doing this to my family?' And you were suppose to be tearing up and all that sad shit." she yelled. I shrugged again.
"Life isn't like a movie. Sometimes the unexpected happens."
"This isn't what I wanted!" she pouted.
"This isn't the reality I wanted!" I mocked her pouting. She glared at me.
"Sorry... Jonghyun taught me well." I said to her.
"Who the fuck is Jonghyun?" she yelled, she was obviously really pissed off now. She shook her head and tried to get back to the subject.
"You won't see your daughter again, or should I say, my child?" she started laughing for no reason. I looked around then looked back at her.
"Why are you laughing?" I asked. She let out a harsh sigh and sat on the ground.
"Does it entertain you? Every time you make some sort of remark that pisses me off?" I tried to stifle a giggle. She was indeed something. She gave me a dark stare and I wiped the smile off my face. She grabbed a gun from out of her shirt.
"Where was that this whole time? In your bra?" I asked. She pointed it at me.
"I really do love Sun Hi, honestly, but do you know how hard it is trying to get her? I've sent you to kill people so you'd be too distracted! I thought you'd bring Kyuhyun but no! You had to leave him!" she was yelling and laughing at the same time, her craziness was showing.
"So just leave your humor aside and let me get this done." he said as her voice dropped.
I stared at her in confusion.
"If you wanted your child, why did you give her to Kyu then? You didn't have to. We would've probably adopted a child." I responded to her. I saw the tears in her eyes as she laughed. The pain was probably affecting her.
Why am I hearing loud footsteps? Maybe it's the loud pounding of my heart since I'm scared.
I didn't move a muscle. I saw her grip tighten on the gun. I stood still as she was about to pull the trigger. She mouthed the words 'goodbye.' And there it was. The sound of a gun being fired.
Bang
