"Wh-What are you doing here?" I stuttered looking at Jason.
"Well, yesterday you said we could hang out and I texted you and called you but you never answered so I just figured why not stop by. Wait have you been crying?" He said quickly. I brought my hand to my face, Shit! I probably look horrible with my eyes all puffy and my face streaked with tears.
"Uh..." I said. Well no point in lying. I mean what else could I tell him? Oh you know I just fake cry in my spare time, it's an acting thing. Yeah he definitely wouldn't buy that...
"Yeah I have been...but don't worry about me I'm fine!" I said trying to hide the pain in my voice. He looked at me funny. Could he really see through me? The only one able to do that is Amber.
"No you're not." He said looking at me with those green eyes. His eyes are so beautiful.. I thought Well thank god he can't read minds....
"You want to come in?" I said trying to change the subject.
"Sure. I mean I don't mean to intrude I was just so used to you texting back instantly I figured something was wrong and obviously something is, I just wanted to make sure you were okay so I came over here and it doesn't really look like you're okay." he said stepping towards me a little.
"No! You're not intruding! I told my dad you might be coming over anyways so come one in." I said stepping in the house gesturing for him to come in. He stepped in beside me and smiled. I walked down the hallway to my dad's office is and sure enough there he was on his computer.
"..Dad?" I said quietly. He turned around in his chair and smiled when his eyes landed on Jason.
"Hi, who's this?" He said calmly. I mentally sighed. Thank god he wasn't mad
"This is Jason, you know the one I told you about yesterday." I replied. Jason stepped forward to shake my fathers hand.
"It's very nice to meet you sir." He said in a calm voice.
"It's nice to meet you too Jason." My dad said back smiling.
"We're just going to be upstairs in my room." I said trying not to make it sound like we were going to do anything. I mean not that I wanted to...Not that Jason wasn't good enough for that! He's just a friend I mean..uh...*Facepalm*
My dad nodded and said "Holler if you need anything." I nodded as I led Jason up to my room.
He looked around at my room taking every detail. It was quiet for a second then he laughed and said, "It smells like girl in here." I laughed comfortably.
"Well I am indeed a girl." I said with a huge smile on my face. Now it was his turn to laugh. He nodded, "Yes, yes you are Scarlet." He said while he tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. I blushed and looked down. I don't think I've ever been this close to a boy before. Well..not counting the party. I've never been this close to a sober boy before. He laughed at the sight of me blushing and sat down on the bed. "You sure do know how to make yourself at home don't you?" I said sitting dwn next to him. He laughed saying "Yes, yes I do!" While taking his legs and laying them on my lap. I laughed and pushed his legs off of me. "HEY!" he yelled putting them back on my lap. I laughed and rolled my eyes. "Fine! Set your smelly feet on my lap!" I said.
"Gladly!" He said winking at me. I rolled my eyes once more.
"What do you want to do?" I asked.
"I just want to know why you were crying earlier." He said.
I sighed, "I had really hoped you forgot that." I confessed.
"Forgot what?" He joked
I laughed a little smiling slightly.
