9. homeless love

"Would you leave if I was ready to settle done? Or would you play it safe and stay?"

"Hey J" I said into the phone talking to Jonah.
"Hey babe, how is it back there in Canada?" he said sounding out of breathe.
"Its good but Jo why do you sound so out of breathe?" I asked sounding confused.
"Oh- I. Er - I went for a run?" he said, making it sound me like a question rather than an answer.
"Jonah baby come here" was all I heard on the other line.
"Thats it Jonah. Who is that?" I said slightly gritting my teeth

Just like that, the line went dead.

That idiot hung up on me, theres clearly something going on.

I started to cry, I dont know why im crying over him, it just hurts.

Shawn grabbed my hand and pulled me down so my head was resting against his chest, he stroked my hair and kissed my forehead now and again.

Atleast he treated me better, he knows everything about me.

Its just a shame we cant show our love for eachother properly.

My parents love Jonah, I dont know how or why.

Surely if it was Shawn I was 'really' dating than they would love him more.

Even though Shawns not at my house all the time because obviously we are supposed to be 'friends'.

He shows respect, love and delicate care to my house, parents and me.

Whereas when Jonah is here, he walks around like he owns the place but my parents still like him and it would break there heart to know me and Jo arent dating anymore. (when the time comes)

He cheated, I know he has. Whoelse would that girl of been he was with. Definitely not his mother!

Youre probably thinking "Your cheating on him with Shawn though?"

Thats completely different, atleast im with someone I love.

Im not judging but shockingly im the longest relationship Jo has ever had.

Before that, it was all one night stands and stuff. More likely after that, the cycle will continue.

I decided to leave Shawns house and go home. By the time I arrived, I jumped onto my bed and to take my mind off of things, I read a book.

Have we got a love that is homeless?
