8.

After what felt like hours I slowly walked her to the car and we drove down to the beach. We sat in the sand as I held her in my arms with a blanket. It was chilly outside and it was weird knowing that I'm human again and felt cold.

"How do you know so much about me and be honest."

"I told you we were married."

"You have some serious issues Mr Mars."

"Okay now enough about you now it's my turn. Umm, my favorite color is maroon, I have a dog named Geronimo, I am the most handsome artist their is-"

"Naa the weeknd is pretty hot."

"Oh yea I forgot how much you loved him." she giggled and I countinued talking. "I am from Hawaii which I know that you want to go someday, I can surf, well, kinda. I love kids and can't wait to have some of my own, I love your eyes and smile, I've missed your laugh the most."

She sat up off me looking at me funny.

"Why are you so weird."

"Oh I know you love that about me too." she let out a quiet giggle.

"Anything else?" I put my hand to my face rubbing my chin trying to think of something else, then I remembered.

"I know your ticklish but there's this one spot on your neck that you that can't stand when I touch it."

She smiled and moved her hair. "Okay my fiancé doesn't even know this so I doubt you can."

"Well he wasn't your husband." I sat up and looked at her neck I moved my hand to grab her hair and move it all to one side. She kept giggling and had her eyes closed. I looked up at her making me smile. I slowly leaned in to her neck and seen her favorite spot that sends chills down her spin in all the right ways. I softly placed my lips on her and I could feel her slightly move, "right there." I whispered.

I moved back to her face and she slowly opened her eyes to me. Her eyes shined off the stars and moon in the sky. I looked down at her lips just wanting to taste them again. I moved slowly to her and very carefully placed my lips on hers.

She began to kiss me back, I put my left hand around her head to pull her in closer. She placed her hand on my chest as our kiss began to deepen. I've missed the softness of her plumped lips.

She then pushed me off and looked at me. She put her hand over her mouth and began tearing up.

"Oh my God. I-I'm sorry Peter."

"What no don't be-"

"I have to go!" she quickly got up and began running back to the car.

"Wait no Melanie please don't leave I'm sorry I shouldn't ha-"

"No I'm getting married next week I don't even know why I'm with you right now! I just cheated on my fiancé! I knew I shouldn't have come!" she began running down the street and I chased after her but she was too fast I got in my car and drove after her.

"Melanie please let me drive you home!" I drove down the street and I seen her jump on a bus I got out the car and looked at the bus she looked out the window to me and turned around to sit down. "Shit!" I slammed my door shut and hit the hood of my car.

The next day
I tried to talk to Melanie but the zoo wouldn't let me see her. I tried to wait for her lunch break but she never came out. I gave up and drove back to see Rita.

"Rita!"

"Oh Bruno so nice to see you again."

"I kissed Melanie why am I still a human?"

"Okay Bruno you make out with a lot of girls and just because you do doesn't mean they truly love you."

"But she has to remember me."

"No she needs to love you and just because you had a cute date and make out session doesn't mean she'll just love you."

"But I only have till next week."

"Exactly and guess what I just got in the mail today." she slid over an envelope and I opened it and in it was Melanie's and Nick's wedding invitation.

"You got this?"

"No I actually stole it but hey I'm a witch I make things happen. But look at the date Bruno." she smiled up to me crossing her hands together as she rested them on the counter.

"The 16th?"

"Yes."

"Wait her wedding is the same day as my last chance to make her fall in love with me?!"

"Yup!" she said popping the p.

"Please give me more time!"

"No, no, no that wasn't the deal."

"Well is there some spell you can do to stop this wedding?"

"Oh my devil Bruno you wanted to be human and I gave it to you now deal with it! Either you fix this or you will stay human forever, Melanie will marry Nick, your twins will never exist, and you belong to me."

"But, but-"

"But nothing. Your time is still ticking Bruno."

"But she won't see me how am I going to even talk to her?"

"Wow you say 'but' a lot! Probably cause you ain't getting any. Ha!"she began laughing as I just stood there. "Oh come on aren't I funny what do you guys think?" she said looking around her as if other people were in the store with us. "Why are you trying so hard to get her back just go back to sleeping with other girls," she said to me as she walked around the counter. "Seeing the world with your boys," her voice became more low and slow. She touched the top of my right shoulder and glided her fingers across my back to my left shoulder and down my arm. "Being able to do anything you wanted without being tied down," she whispered in my ear then jumped on the counter to sit down right next to me. "Don't you miss it Bruno? I know you do."

I stood there looking down trying to remember the days of when I first became famous and how life was.

She grabbed my shirt pulling me to her and placed me in between her legs. She had on a short black dress and went mid thigh, she snapped her fingers and I heard the door lock and the open sign flip over to close behind me.

"Why don't you show me how much you missed it." She wrapped her legs around me and pulled me in close to her instantly feeling my manhood pressed against her making my heart beat jump.

I looked up to her eyes and it was as if I was under a spell, some dark magic. Her red lips were right in front of me and when she spoke I felt her breath right on my lips.

"Come on Bruno show me what kind of man you are, let that gorilla let lose on me."

I grabbed her face and quickly pulled it to mine and we roughly kissed one another.
