A few days later
"My body is changing and I feel my self getting stronger everyday I won't be able to control myself once the full moon gets here! I need an antidote now!" I said as I walked back and forth getting angry.

"We are trying Bruno but the place was burned down there's nothing but ash." Sonia said.

"So you're telling me I'm suck like this! Forever!" I screamed back to her making her lower her head.

"Bruno please it's not her fault we are trying our best." Tony defended her.

"No it's not her fault, it's yours! We wouldn't be in this situation if you never came into our lives! We were perfectly fine untill you-" Melanie stepped in front of me placing her hand on my chest over my heart and looked into my eyes.

"This is not who you are." My heart rate instantly slowed down as her hazel eyes began to tear up. I took in a deep breath and grabbed her pulling her in for a hug.

"This stuff is getting to me more and more every day." I kissed the top of her head then I got down to Sonia. "I'm so sorry I didn't mean anything I said. It's starting to take control of me and I don't know how to fight it anymore." Sonia grabbed me giving me a hug and I instantly hug her back.

"I know that's why I'm trying harder to help you." I hear the kids laughing as Sarah and Alice play with them in the backyard, I stood up and looked at their smiles through the sliding glass door seeing their curls bounce around as they ran around made me smile.

"Seeing them only makes me scared of what will happen in the future. I don't want them to be afraid of me."

"Bruno no they would never!" Melanie grabbed me to look at her. "They love you and they always will. Don't say things like that okay?"

"Remember don't hunt for the next two nights so you won't be strong for the full moon." Dominic said as I turned to look at him.

"I haven't hunted all week or went boxing with E. The last time I did I couldn't stop punching the bag till it was in the ground."

"We got all the new thicker chains already put in the basement and added a few more locks there's no way you can get out of that basement." Victor said.

"Thanks guys for helping me again." I said smiling to all of them.

"Of course B you brought us all here. You welcomed all of us into your home and made us family." Dominic said as he pulled Tony into his chest messing up his hair laughing.

"Yea, I guess you're right." I said smiling while I looked to Melanie.

Later that night
"So what song do you want daddy to sing tonight?" I asked the kids as I tucked them into bed.

"Count on me!" Preston screamed out.

"Man you guys really like that song." They giggled as I pushed his curls back. "How about I sing something different, yea?" They both nodded their head as I began to think. "Okay I got a song I think you guys will like." I cleared my throat and began to sing.

I head back down stairs to find Melanie still cleaning after dinner. She looked to me then looked away quickly wiping her eyes.

"Oh, I didn't even hear you come back down." She said as her nose sniffles as if she was crying. I carefully walk to her and move her hair behind her ear. She looked up to be and her eyes were red.

"Melanie, baby wants wrong?"

"Nothing I just heard you singing the kids our wedding song and it just brought back so many memories" she said wiping her eyes and smiling.

I grabbed her hand making her giggle as I spun her around I pulled her close as we slow danced in the kitchen while I hummed our song. "I love you Melanie Hernandez." I whispered in her ear.

"And I love you Peter Hernandez."

"Forever?"

"Forever."

"You'll be by my side?"

"Always Peter."

"Even when I'm old and crazy." She let out a giggle as she pulled away to look in my eyes.

"Even when you're crazy and old." I smiled down at her a kissed her. We rested our forehead on each other as we continued to slow dance in silence.
