Melanie grabbed me holding me in her arms. As Dominic and Victor held on to Eli and Eric.

"No, no, no, baby look at me! Look at me!" He grabbed my face to look at her as I had no control in where I was looking. "Hey come on we just got our son back I'm not losing you."

"I'm fine I'm just resting."

"Then come on let's go home." She carefully lifted me up but I couldn't get up.

"I c-can't feel my legs." I said as I tried to move them but I couldn't.

Sarah came close as the kids moved back. She lifted me up looking at my back. She put her hand over her mouth and she began to tear up.

"What! What's wrong?" Melanie said.

"Two bullets missed him but one, and that one hit him right on his spine."

"What are you saying! Th-that he is paralyzed from the waist down?!" She didn't say anything but nod her head. I closed my eyes thinking of everything I won't be able to do, run through the forest, hunting for my self, dancing with Mel in the kitchen at midnight, or even walk my Talia down the aisle. All these thought brought tears to my eyes but I quickly blinked my eyes for them to go away.

"He is losing a lot of blood too." She said as she began putting pressure on the wound.

"Take the bullet out Sarah it's silver!"

"I can't! I don't have the right tools and if something goes wrong I could hit the wrong nerve or blood vessel and make him bleed to death or brain dead."

"No I'm not losing him! Rita!" Melanie screamed to her as she stood there looking scared. "Please Rita we need you to help him!"

"I can't. My powers, they are too-"

"I don't care! Look at him! He is dying help him!" I looked at her as she didn't know what to do. "Rita hurry! Come on!" Melanie continued to yell at her as she began breathing quickly.

"Melanie stop!" I said loudly with the little energy I had left in me. "She can't do it, don't make her do it."

"No Bruno I can't lose you."

"I'm fine."

Melanie's P.O.V
I held him tight and looked up making eye contact with Eric as he had a grin on his face. I carefully moved Bruno to Talia as I got up.

"Melanie wait." Sarah said as she knew what I was about to do.

"Come on Melanie just wait." Dominic said as he put his arm out but I push it out the way as I punched Eric across the face.

"Look at me!" He spit out some blood and slowly looked up at me still with that smile. It made me mad again as I punched him again this time making him fall. I grabbed his shirt making him sit back up on his knees. "If my husband dies I'm going to kill you and it's not going to be a nice quick death. I am going to make sure you are going die very painfully and slowly that I'm not going to describe because of my children are here." His smile faded away quickly. "Now before your son becomes his dinner where are your medical tools?"

"Don't threaten to kill my son when we both know your husband can't taste human blood without becoming the animal that nearly cost your marriage." He said smiling again with blood coating his teeth and chin. My anger took over me as I grabbed his throat lifting him off the ground and slammed him in the wall. I raised up my hand letting my claws out ready to kill him.

"Melanie no!" Dominic said as he grabbed my arm.

"Get off of me!" He grabbed both my arms pulling me back as Eric fell gasping for air. "I will kill you asshole! Just you wait!"

"Melanie please!" Dominic said hugging my arms to my side, he was much stronger than me since I haven't gone hunting in awhile since I was so worried about Preston and I am now regretting not going.

"No if we don't kill him now he is going to start this all over again!"

"You think I started this?" He said still sitting on the floor holding his throat.

"Then who did?" Victor said as we all looked at each other.

"I'm not the boss I'm just one of the head men that is part of it."

"Then who is the boss?" I said standing there catching my breath.

"I am."

We all looked to where the voice came from as she entered the room smiling at us.

"Jessica?" I said feeling my blood starting to boil up again.

"Hello."
