A few months later
It's the twins senior year and they were half way there to graduating making me only feel more old. Nothing has happened to the kids yet, I knew the Ravens would just hide until their birthdays become closer. I warned the pack about everything and have been on constant look out of any familiar faces that always come around us.

Today was Preston's last game so we all went out to show our support like always. Dom and Alice were with us in the stadiums for back up just in case.

"Which number is he again?" Alice said snaking on popcorn.

"We told you four times girl." Melanie said laughing.

"There's so many numbers out there it's hard to remember."

"Number 14."

"Oh I see him now. Let's go number 14!" Alice screamed loudly making Preston look up to us.

"That's my baby! Mommy loves you!" Melanie said while waving. Preston quickly looked away and began warming up.

"You guys are embarrassing my boy!" I said grabbing Melanie's hands down.

"That's my son I'm going to show my support." Her and Alice continued screaming his name.

"Dad you know mom isn't going to listen to you." Jr said as he ate his popcorn next to me.

"Yea Uncle B I never seen her listen to you." Vida said as she was sitting in front of Jr leaning her back on his legs.

"You know what, turn around and watch the game." I said grabbing the top of her head turning it to the field making her laugh. I looked down at Talia as she was glued to her phone texting away.

"Talia sweetheart get off your phone for 5 minutes and watch your brother." She was nodding her head still typing.

"She's listening to music dad."

"Yep of course."

We reached the final quarter of the game. They were tied with their rival enemies the Lions. They had the ball and with only a few minutes left. Preston told me before every game he always wanted to make the final touchdown and this was his last chance to do that.

"Come on son!" I screamed rubbing my hands together. Everyone was on the edge of their seats.

"Get that home run!" Alice screamed making us all look at her.

"It's called a touchdown." Jr said laughing.

"You know what I mean!"

They discussed their play and got into formation. The band played music to encouraged them. The quarterback called hike and both teamed crashed into each other I kept my eyes on Preston as he broke through the other team, the quarterback stepped back looking for someone to throw it to. Preston was wide open as he raised his arm out to get his attention. The quarterback seen him and threw the ball just in time as he was tackled. Everyone stood up seeing the ball fly far across the field towards him.

Preston jumped grabbing the ball once he got his balance he took off as fast as he could towards the field goal.

"Go Preston! Go!" I screamed feeling proud and anxious.

"Go! Go! Go!" Everyone screamed seeing another player coming close up behind him. He dived for his feet but Preston jumped over him and into the field goal!

"It's all over! Number 14 Preston Hernandez has done it!" A man said into the speakers making us all jump and clap.

A player from the other team quickly ran towards Preston tackling him down making us all stop. The referees blew their whistle as they ran towards them. I could head Preston's heart beat get faster as anger took over him.

"Oh no!" Melanie said covering her mouth with her hand.

"Dude whats you're problem!" Preston said getting up and pushed him back. "We won its over!"

"That's for suspending little brother because your brother wants to be a little bitch!" The guy pushed him back making both teams run out there.

We also could hear him lightly growl as he tackled him back making my heart drop. Oh no, not now. I ran down the stairs as Dominic ran behind me. We pushed through the gate doors running on the field. We ran past the players and I grabbed Preston's helmet pulling him to the side and Dominic grabbed the other guy off.

"Hey look at me." I could see the rage in his eyes almost scaring me. "Look at me son! Calm your breathing. Take in deep breaths." He closed his eyes and did as I said.

"I'm sorry dad he hit me first and started talking about Jr." I could hear his heart beat slowing down making me let out a deep breath.

"It's okay I saw it. But I also saw you score the winning touchdown!" I said and his team mates came in screaming jumping up and down. I moved away seeing him all happy, I looked back to Melanie from the stands nodding to her letting her know he is okay. After their celebration we headed home.

Once the kids were all asleep and me Melanie were still up getting ready for bed as we talked about today.

"Today was close."  Melanie said walking into the bathroom.

"It was just because of that kid said something about Jr." I laid back on the bed getting mad about what he called my son.

"That whole family has problems." She said as she brushed her teeth.

"We know that playing in football with his heart rate high didn't trigger his wolf side to show, its only when he gets angry."

"Okay we just make sure he doesn't get angry but we need to figure out what will trigger Talia's."

"Being away from her phone."

"She's a teenager, social media is their whole life." Melanie said laughing

"Exactly she need to be playing with her favorite doll and falling asleep in my arms after I sing to her."

"Come on let's get to bed." Melanie threw a pillow at me while I still couldn't believe how fast they have been growing.
