I have decided that I am going to write back to him. I've chosen to believe the part of me that was desperation. I wanted him to respond for so long and now he has. Although, it doesn't mean that I'm not still heart-broken. He left me. He left me and my mum, for someone else.
How did I found out the truth? I don't even want to speak of it. So with all of the emotions I hold within me, I write.

To: My Father,

I have so many questions which I want answers for, but there's many so here is one. Why did you leave me? You left me and broke my heart. Time has passed. Nine years to be exact. And I wrote to you. A lot. So you reply now. I don't know what I want to do. I just can't forgive you.  Not now anyways, I feel like you're really late.
3,285 days without a father, Dad. Let that sink in.

Kate.
