I was walking into the grocery store to get a few things that I need. I really wanted to get a coffee machine but couldn't be bothered paying $45 for the best looking one there. So I ditched that idea and placed a frozen pizza and some ice cream into the basket.
I moved back to look at the flavours when I nearly bumped into someone. "Oops sorry."
I said.
"Nah all good." He replies. "Wait a minute," he pauses and looks at me for a second. "Mystery girl?"
"Coffee shop boy!" I exclaim. A little louder than I expected... "um hey, how's life?" I ask.
"Life is pretty good." He says.
"How weird that we are both here in the same section?"
"Yeah such a coincidence." He says.
"Mmm. I don't know what flavour to get I'm so stuck. I'm not a boring vanilla ice-cream girl but I feel like vanilla but then I don't. But I do but I don't."
"Just do it. Vanilla is amazing." He says.
"I might just do that." I reply. "Thanks."
"No problem, I'm used to making decisions, usually it's easier if you go with your gut."
"I suck at making decisions, but I got as far as dinner and dessert so I think I'm doing pretty well considering I'm well, me."
He laughs a little, "Well I'll leave you to make more decisions then, you have a nice day, mystery girl."
"You too coffee shop boy. I'll be waiting for my Flat White tomorrow morning."
"I'll be there tomorrow morning, so I'll see you then."
"Okay."
