We got home and we took the shopping bags in the living room. I sat down and felt a smile forming on my face. "I had fun today mum. Our dresses are gorgeous." She came and sat opposite me. "Are you alright sweetie?" I smiled. "Yeah I'm fine." I was lying. Inside I was seething with anger... how could he? I was lying when he said he wasn't on my mind either. I couldn't just block him out of my mind. "Mum... you know how I said I was over Seth? Truthfully.. I'm not. I still really, really have a thing for him. Even though we were messing about before." She took my hand and stroked it.."Well... What is you like about him?" I grinned at the thought of her question.. "His brown eyes... his light blonde hair. His personality is so sweet. He's always messing about.. saying really thoughtful things. He's said I'm pretty, smart, awesome, so good looking and really talented. He's not too bad either." Mum laughed.."You really like him don't you?" I giggled. "Every time I get a text or call from him.. I get butterflies and I can smile for days over him. But him sending that picture message of him with his arms wrapped around that girl.. my feelings and thoughts about him suddenly turned into anger." Speaking of the devil... my phone rang. Mum excused herself mouthing "I'll be in the kitchen if you need me."

"Hey Mia. Please, please don't hang up on me. I was ringing to see how you are and how your day was. Honestly... I've missed you. And I'm sorry that you had to see that picture. Trust me. I'm going to be honest. Jess hooked up with me. I seriously fought her off.. but she wouldn't give up. I didn't enjoy it one bit. I just let her do what she needed to do." He sounds so sorry... but I knew him as a mate.."Alright. Come over to the house in 10 minutes. I'll meet you outside."

I heard a knock at the door... I took a deep breath. I opened the door. Oh God. Instant crush alert! "Hi. Come in." He smiled at me. We sat down and I heard a shuffle.."Seriously mum?" I shouted. "Sorry darling. I'll be in the kitchen if you need me." I laughed. "Sorry. Mum is always like this. Wait until you meet my brothers and dad." He looked up at me.

"Mia. I honestly meant what I said on the phone. I do still want us to be alright. I know things were a bit messed up before.. but I want to make you even more happy. I'd love to be a part of your life. I mean.. I want to be your boyfriend." I looked at him in shock... "Do you mean this?" He held my hand. "I've know you since I was 8. You're 16 now. I want to be there for you every day... I do really like you. The reason why I did all that stuff "jack the lad" stuff was because I found it hard to figure how to tell you that I liked you was because I was scared. Scared of rejection." I stroked his face and I giggled. "I like you too." He kissed my neck.."We'll take this slow alright? You know I'm not the type of guy to rush into things. I'll have to meet your new family too." I blushed. "Well.. you'd better go. I'm going to an event with mum, Milo, Dad and Otis tonight. It's the NTAs. Did you maybe wanna come along? I'll ask mum. We've got hair and make up tomorrow morning. We went shopping yesterday. I heard a glass drop. "Right mum. Chat now." Seth laughed and he kissed me. "I'll be here for 7pm tomorrow. I love you Mia." My heart fluttered.."I love you too."

He left and I opened the kitchen door looking at mum with evil eyes. "And you said you wouldn't eavesdrop?!" She giggled.."So.. looks like you really like him then?" I blushed. "Fine. I do. And we are an item now. Any word to dad and brothers.. you're dead mum!" She laughed and went upstairs.
