My Surprise...

(Amanda's P.O.V)
The house was really quiet. "Boys? Mia? Darling?" Why was no one answering! I got in the shower, cleansed my face, and put on my clothes ready to go to work. I went downstairs and breakfast was made... and a hot chocolate was left in the side with a note..

the kids are at school.. I sorted out Mia's enrolment earlier today while I had time before work. Try and be back at home for 8pm. Xxx. I've said too much.. love you xxxx. Richard was adorable.. I wondered what he was planning!

I took my bag downstairs with my phone, bracelet and necklace. I got in the car and made my way to the studios. I walked in and I saw Charles, Emily, Jayne and Derek in the costume department. "Morning guys! Is everything alright?" They all came over and hugged me. "How's Mia getting on? Is she liking the whole set-up at home and stuff? We all loved meeting her. She looks like you." I smiled at the thought of her having my looks. "Well... I'll need to get ready as me, Charles and Emily are filming all day." I creamed my face and got my outfits out and put my heels on. "Right.. we'll be filming the scene the fans have been dreding... the reveal of Jacobs affair..." We both looked at each other and laughed.."Well done Charles!" We both walked to Connie's office and let the cameras set up. "You do know the fans are going crazy right? They hate Jacob right now!" Charles laughed. "Well... it's not my fault Jacob cheated! The writing team think of the ideas!" We was getting ready and we sat in position when the director said action...

"Hi Connie. I've just come to see you." Charles sat beside me. "You know I do deeply love you right? I cannot apologise enough for cheating on you." He placed his hand on my shoulder.  "Don't you dare talk to me about loyalty. My daughter was suffering from a major brain injury. And you decided to leave me for another option? Get out of my office. Now! Jacob!" It went silent for a few minutes... "And CUT!" 

Me and Charles burst out laughing.. "I could see from the corner of my eye that you wanted to laugh!" Charles giggled at me. "I wanted to.. but I had to be serious!" We made our way to the canteen for some lunch when my phone bleeped.

What was going on with him today? He'd been romantic all day...

I started smiling... I was seriously wondering what was going on. "What's up with you Miss Mealing?" Derek saw me. "Richard is texting me and he's being seriously weird. What does it even mean?" Derek smiled.. 'I have no clue.." he winked. The cast knew something... I carried on walking back to the dressing room when I got another text.

Come home ASAP. Don't worry.. the kids will be out all night. I bribed them with money!x You don't want to miss your surprise😏x R❤x

He was being seriously cute now.. I looked at our producer Micheal... "Go home Amanda. You can film again tomorrow." Why did I feel like he knew something too?

I said bye to everyone and all the girls said.. "Hope it goes well!" I laughed. "See you girls tomorrow!"

I raced home and I let myself in. The entire house was dark and I saw candles leading towards the kitchen. I grinned to myself....❤❤❤

I stepped into the kitchen and Richard was sat down at the dining table with 2 glasses, a bottle of wine and a lovely  homemade pasta bake. He came towards me and held my hand and he kissed my cheek.. "you've had my running around at work today like a headless chichen?" He laughed and kissed me. "Just shut up and sit down.." He poured wine in my glass and he smiled at me from across the table. "Are you trying to get me drunk darling? You do know I can't have any more right? My baby days are long gone.' He laughed. "I know that honey. You're just so sweet, amazing, beautiful, a brilliant mother.  You're excellent at your job. I'm always here to support you as you've supported me through everything. I'm always here even through your bad days, your awful moments and everything we've been through has made us so much stronger." By this this point in his speech.. I was crying!❤ "I'd like to give you something." He produced a new ring and an envelope that said Amanda written on it. 

I thought I'd treat us to 3 nights in Paris!xxx I wanted to take you back to the place where I proposed to you.. and before Mia came into our lives, I did promise you that break away..

"Oh darling! This is lovely. You're so sweet." I kissed him. "I'm guessing everyone at work knew?" Richard winked. "That's right. I asked Micheal if you could have June the 4th, 5th, and 6th off work. And I told Charles, Jayne, Cathy, Derek and Chizzy as well.. I just  told then not to tell you." I held his hand and looked at all the candles..."these candles are so beautiful. I love them. Thank you." He placed his arms around the back of my neck and kissed my neck. "Awwwww... not so fast. I'm tired. I'm going up to bed. I'll be wanting my cuddle as soon as I've finished." I giggled and ran upstairs. I was so lucky.❤
