Chapter 2~Friends!

  I was awoken by someone shaking me. "Hey get up, or you'll be late for your first day at the academy," a voice said. I fully sat up and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. "OK," I mumbled. I threw the covers off of me before unwantingly hopping out of bed.

  I didn't change clothes, brush my teeth, eat breakfast, or do the normal getting ready for school things; I just walked into the living room and sat on the couch.

  "Aren't you gonna eat?" Kakashi asked. I shook my head no and looked at him. Before coming here, I learned I could scan people's minds. When I scanned Kakashi's mind, I learned everything he knew. And that was a lot.

  I now know many jutsu, and perfected them, also everything about this world, and it's past. In the academy I'm going to, I'll most likely be the smartest kid there.

  When I looked at the clock I noticed it was time for me to leave. "I'm gonna head to the academy," I said heading for the door. "I can show you the way," Kakashi said the following. I didn't want to argue so I went along with it and let him lead me.

  After about five minutes of walking and getting strange looks from the villagers, we made it to the academy. "I will walk you to the classroom you will be in and introduce you to the teacher; his name is Iruka, but you have to call him Iruka-Sensei, got it?" Kakashi said. I nodded. Customs here are so weird...

  We walked down the hallway and stopped at a door. I could hear a grown man scolding someone. "Here it is," Kakashi said lazily as he opened the door.

  I saw a man scolding a boy that was about my age. The boy had sun-yellow hair, sky blue eyes, and adorable whiskers. He was tied up with rope and didn't look too happy about it either. The older man seemed to notice me and Kakashi. "Oh, Kakashi! What brings you here and who is this?" He asked looking at me. All eyes looked to me even the boy tied up.

~Naruto's POV~

  I heard the door open and saw a man with a girl about my age. Who are they? I asked myself. Iruka-sensei seemed to notice them as well. "Oh, Kakashi! What brings you here and who is this?" Iruka-sensei asked.

  The man looked to the girl and said, "This here is your new student," he said. "Oh wonderful, why don't you come introduce yourself?" Iruka-sensei said. "I'll be leaving," the other man said.

  Iruka-sensei untied me and told me to go sit down in my seat. Once I sat down I was able to get a good look at the new girl. She had cherry red hair and pretty bright green eyes, even prettier than Sakura's own eyes. She wore a red dress with white ends that ended at her mid-thigh. I must admit she is way cuter than Sakura.

  "Introduce yourself," Iruka-sensei said and waved his hand towards the rest of my peers. She nodded. "Hello, my name is Baby, it is a pleasure to meet you all," she bowed. Everyone looked at her weird. "Umm...OK does anyone have any questions for...Baby?"

  Some kids raised their hands. I saw, Sakura and Ino, Kiba, and even Sasuke. The girl picked Sakura and Ino first. "Is there anyone you like here?" They asked eagerly. "Umm..." She looked around. Her eyes landed on me...wait for me?! Her eyes sparkled. "No...no one," she said but didn't look away from me. Her cheeks began to get turn a slight pink with a smile, adorable smile on her plump lips.

  When she looked away, she then picked Kiba. "Is Baby your real name?" He asked. She sighed and nodded. "Yes, Baby is my real name. Given to me by my creator," she said. "Creator?" Kiba said. Her eyes widened a little bit, and she said "Umm...yeah...my dad..." she said sadly.

  She sighed and looked up. She then picked Sasuke. "Where are you from?" He asked. "Uh...a very far away place..." She said. Huh...strange girl, I thought with a laugh. "Okay...well Baby you can sit in the empty next to Naruto," Iruka-sensei said while turning to his desk and preparing his lesson for today.

  She nodded and walked over to me. "Hello, are you Naruto?" She asked me. Her voice was so memorizing. "Uh...yeah," I mumbled. She giggled. Oh. My. God. Her laugh is so cute! I mentally freaked.

  Once class ended and lunch started, I walked over to Baby. "Hey Baby! Do you want to eat lunch together?" I asked. "Umm...I don't have any lunch, but I will accompany you while you eat," My face lite up. "Thanks," I said.

  I ate but eventually, my curiosity about the cute girl next to me reached its peak. "Baby?" I turned to her. "Yeah?" She spoke with her soothing voice. "Are we friends?" She looks really happy. "Of course!" She then hugged me. I felt the heat rise to my face.

  "Thanks for being my friend," I said. She giggled. "Your welcome," she said. I then hugged her back. She's so cold...Why?
