Chapter 9-These Are Stupid Missions!

~*~Baby's P.O.V~*~

  The team and I laid there for a good two hours before Kakashi actually showed up. I heard his footsteps and shot up and looked towards his direction. "Well, look who actually showed up........two hours late!!!" I yelled at him.

  "Sorry there was this cat-" he stated his excuse but I cut him off. "Kakashi, you were eating cereal and reading when I left. 'There was this cat' my butt!" I said. The others laughed and we all stood up. I dusted off my skirt and walked closer to our sensei.

  "Well, what missions will we be doing today?" I asked. Kakashi cleared his throat. "Come on and we'll get started," he said and walked off. We all followed and that was a mistake.

  1st Mission: Picking Weeds Out Of Some Old Lady's Garden. We had to get down on the ground and pick weeds. Naruto messed up. He was trying to compete with Sasuke and show off, so he pulled weed AND flowers. The lady was pretty mad.

  2nd Mission: Walk Dogs. We all picked a dog to walk. I picked a medium sized dog named bear, it reminded me of Funtime Freddy. Sasuke and Sakura picked small dogs and Naruto picked the biggest dog. That was able to run off, dragging Naruto with him, and into a minefield. Naruto and the dog made it out alive but not without a few scrapes.

  3rd Mission: Pick Trash Out Of A River. I didn't do that one. I can't go in the water. I'll get rusted if I stay for long and that'll be bad. So I picked the pieces that I could reach from dry land. Of course, Naruto got in trouble again.

  I heard a scream and look to see Naruto falling down the waterfall. "Sasuke!" I yell alerting the rest. Sasuke sees Naruto and swims quickly and grabs his foot. Sasuke is about to fall as well, so I risk getting rust and quickly run over any grab Sasuke's foot and dig my feet into the ground.

  "Sasuke! Grab onto Naruto's foot tightly!" I yell. When he does I get ready to pull. "Get ready!" I warn. I step one foot back and swing them, using my enhanced strength, away from the water. They go flying towards a tree and so I sigh and use my enhanced sleep to get behind them, catch them, and crash into the tree from them hitting me. That now has a big dent in it.

  I groan and set the boys down. I stay where I am a cover the gigantic dent. Sakura ran over and inspected the boys. "Are you guys OK!?" She asked frantically. "Yeah, we're good, thanks to Baby that is," Naruto said sitting up.

  Sakura looked at me next. "Are you OK, Baby?" Sakura asked. "Just peachy," I grunted and gave a thumbs up. I groaned and then fell forward onto my stomach. I could hear gasps as I slowly turned to see the damage.

  The tree had a massive dent and so did my back. The force of trying to stop my own strength that was put in that throw had bent the spine of my Endoskeleton. It hurts surprisingly. I groaned and stood up slowly.

  "Baby you have to be careful!" Naruto said worriedly. "Naruto, guys, I'm fine really! I've been through worse," I grunted as calmly as possible. "I'm gonna go and fix myself up and I'll be back," I grunted and hobbled off.

  "Let me go with you!" Naruto called after me. "No!" I snapped. I turn to see Naruto's beautiful blue eyes filled with hurt. I sigh and hobble over to him and hug him. "I'm sorry Naru~ I'm not angry, I just don't want you to see me like this," I mumble to where only he can hear me.

  He gently hugs me back not to hurt me. "I understand, Baby. I just don't like you angry, it doesn't fit," he mumbled into my hair. His warm breath tickled my neck which caused me to giggle. I reluctantly pulled away from him and turned away.

  "I'm going to fix myself now," I mumbled loud enough for everyone to hear. They nodded and I walked off into the woods.

^-^Naruto's P.O.V.^-^

  "Naruto," Kakashi said. "Already on it," I said and started following after Baby. "Why does he get to go?" I heard Sakura ask Kakashi. "Because if he gets caught, Baby won't be as mad," he answered. "And why is that?" Sasuke asked. "Because she has a crush on him," he said simply.

  My face lights up like a red firework. Does she really like me back? (NABY FOR LIFE!!)  I am now out of earshot and continue to follow Baby in the trees. She moves a good ways away from the rest of the team.

  She eventually stops and leans against a tree. "Here should be good," she sighed. I stopped on a tree in front of her and hide. "Let's give this a
shot," she said and her torso opened up!! What?! When it opened I could see a bunch of wires, bolts, and I gigantic claw!

  She reached her hand into the wire and moved it around. "Here's my spine," she said and moved her hand deeper. She grunted in pain. "There we go. It's back in place," she mumbled. She took her hand out and closed her torso.

  But right as it closed, it shot open and the gigantic claw shot out and was heading towards me. I gasped and del out of the tree I was hiding in. Baby shot her head up and grabbed the claw right as it was about to get my face.

  "Naruto!! Are you OK?!" She asked frantically. I backed up a little and nodded. She pulled to claw back and shoved it back into her stomach. She closed her torso made sure it stayed closed.

  She looked at me. Fear present in her beautiful green eyes. "Baby, you're not human are you?" I asked. She looked back down and shook her head 'No'. "Then what are you?" I asked.

  "A dead girl who was killed by the same monstrosity she is forced to stay the rest of her life in. Or a lost soul that possess an animatronic," she said sadly. "A dead girl? A lost soul?" I said confused. She sighed.

  "I'm dead Naruto. I'm no longer alive! I'm a ten-year-old girl, but now I'm older than you! If I was alive I would be 18!" She said. She had tears running down her face. I don't care if she is dead, she's more alive than anyone. I walked over and hugged her.

  She hugged me back. "I'm a
monster," she cried. "No, you're not!" I said. "If anyone is a monster, it's me. I have a demon inside me," I said. "I know, you have the nine-tails inside of you, but you're not a monster. That thing inside you is," she said and looked up at me.

  "I'm a monster, I have killed so many people," she cried again. "Hey, do you regret it?" I asked her. She nodded. "Then you are no monster," and with that, I kissed her. Her soft but firm lips moved against as she kissed back.
