Drowning

The world came crashing down on me, like an avalanche in the snowy Appalachia.

A giant wave, a silent storm.

If no one is there to see the avalanche no one can hear the animals yelp with fear.

You feel like screaming, but no one can hear you.

If there's a tsunami in the middle of the sea, it'll take days for shores to reap the damage.

A building up and tearing down.

The light fades from the skies view and the salty water takes flight.

It feels like drowning, but no one comes to save you.

So the waves keep coming, crashing down and down and down,

and the animals scream and cry but the snow is unforgiving.

and the tide pulls back and back, makes the sea look like it's spinning.

When it crashes you will feel it, you will see it, it will hurt,

and the world around keeps moving as you sink into the earth.
