There once was a horrible world that had slaves and no rights for women.
Then revolutionists came and decided to make a change.
It took them many years some were killed and some were jailed,
But the revolution came and it was supposed to change our lives forever.
The change has only stayed for 50 years or so and already it's being turned back, it'll be the world we tried to leave.
My grandma hoped she wouldn't have to see this again in her life.
She was lucky because she passed, but she left all of her children,
Her grandkids and her great grand ones might live in a world like hers.
A world she hoped was gone may ruin my family's lives.
A change again should happen, we need one for the better.
It starts with me, with you, with us, but oh my Gosh it needs to start.
We can't just sit idly by and watch our world turn back,
To the horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible, world it was before.
