Snow Day || Haiba Lev || Gender-neutral
"Lev! Let's go outside," you shouted to your boyfriend. You watched excitedly from the window of your home.
Snowflakes danced down onto the thick blanket of flurries.
"But (F/N)-chan, it's really cold out!" Lev complained, coming up behind you. The middle blocker hugged your waist to his chest.
You craned your neck to meet his eyes. You gave a devious, malicious smirk. "I can keep you warm," your smile grew larger as you said that.
A shiver ran down the poor volleyball player's spine.
Your expression changed from immoral to sincere and innocent. "I promise," you said. You leaned upward and pecked Lev's lips. Your boyfriend smiled down at you.
"Fine, then."
You broke free of Lev's embrace, and dashed to get your coat, gloves, hat, and scarf. You equipped all of your warmth with great speed; and within seconds you were out the door, still trying to strap on your boots.
Lev was entertained as you pranced around, toppling over in the cold snow. The teenage boy zipped up his coat, and slid his feet into his boots. He ran over to where you were laying in the snow, making snow angels.
Up close your body looked a lot different. You looked. . . bigger in your thick winter coat. Your boyfriend laughed, and began speaking his thoughts since the guy has now filter.
"(F/N)-chan, you look fat in that winter coat," Lev giggled.
You sat up in dismay, frustration, and rage. You beamed smugly at the ground. Your hands went to form a small ball of snow.
You threw the small round snowball at your boyfriend. Your malevolent grin grew. You hoisted yourself to you feet.
"Lev! I call for a snowball fight!" you challenged. Lev reluctantly accepted your challenge.
"You get two minutes to prepare," you instructed. "Ready! Go!"
You ran about 10 meters away from your boyfriend, and started packing snow together to create a fortress. You ducked behind your foot-tall wall and began smashing snow into balls.
After about the two minutes had ended, the battle had begun. You hid behind your wall, and tried to plan out a strategy. However, Lev didn't do anything quite yet, and you couldn't read what his plan might be.
You peaked out from behind your fort, only to see a snowball being hurled at your face. You didn't have time to react before it had hit you square in the nose. You sighed.
Not even five minutes in, and you had already lost.
You looked down, and saw droplets of red dripping onto the purity of the snow. Your hand went to your nose. Your glove was getting stained by red trickling down, onto your coat sleeves.
You let out another sigh. Lev bolted over to you, trying to nurse your bloody nose. However, being the clumsy type of person he his, it didn't help at all. His result was just you blood all over his gloves and coat.
"Let's go inside," you suggested.
The two of you walked into your warm, cozy apartment. The warm air slapped you in the face, making cold sweat heat you up.
You didn't take off any of your winter attire, except your boots, before you made your way to the kitchen. Lev followed you.
You tore off a paper towel, and pinched the bridge of your nose with it.
The tall middle blocker refused to look at you, he was ashamed to hurt his significant other. . . again.
You peered up at his blushing face, and began to burst out into uncontrollable laughter.
Lev looked at you in shock. His dear (F/N) was laughing, unlike all the other times. On other occasions when Lev had accidentally injured (F/N), he'd get scolded for being so clumsy, or (F/N) refused to talk for a few hours as they recovered.
"You look like you're trying to confess your love to me, again," you giggled. (F/N) was definitely side-tracked this time from the actual incident. Lev undid his hand attached to his inner elbow, and he attempted to hide his reddened face.
Lev took a glance at a reflection in a window, and a smile crept on his face. He joined into (F/N)'s laughter. He really did look like he just admitted his love for (F/N).
"I Lev you," (F/N) stated, as their giggles calmed down.
