(A/N) - If you want to hear the inspiration for this, read the end
It was the spring time, a time of something new.
First years filed into Karasuno for one of the first times.
Takeda Ittetsu monitored and helped the first years going about the halls. That's when he met someone with the brightest smile. One that shone brighter than the sun. Their eyes twinkled like the stars. Their laugh was majestic and beautiful.
Takeda instantly took a liking to his new student. He enjoyed having them in his class. They always participated, and weren't afraid of failing. They were the perfect student. Even though they didn't have the greatest marks, at least they tried.
Spring time ended, and it trasitioned into summer. Takeda's student became even more cheery, and lively.
They gathered new friends, and built better relationships with the friends they already had.
They became more supportive of other students, and continued on with their studies.
The green leaves that adorned the trees began to turn beautiful hues of red, yellow, and orange, and fluttered to the ground.
The student usually went quiet, not talking as much, or laughing.
The year's end was nearing. The cold weather combined with the dormit trees shifted the mood.
Takeda's student's energy was completely dead. Their laughs were empty. Their smiles were forced. They kept their sleeves down, even when the weather warmed up. Not many saw through their act.
The advisor told them that it was okay, and that they could talk to him, but they always said they were fine. He tried multiple times, out of care and the persistent personality he had. Yet, it always ended up the same.
Their mood continued on through their second and third year.
It was autumn again, change was bound to happen, but nothing occurred.
The winter came, once more. It was almost time for the third years to move on and graduate from Karasuno.
Takeda was expecting to see his student walking away from the school, smiling from the time they enjoyed at Karasuno, or crying, not wanting to leave. But he didn't see them.
It was only a few days until the news struck him.
They had committed suicide.
There weren't many times where Takeda was at loss for words. He couldn't explain what this feeling was. Was it guilt, saddness, sorrow? He didn't understand. If only, he was able to talk to them.
Please there are other ways to escape. Talk to someone, write, draw. Suicide is not an option.
Now, for the inspiration.
This is a combination of my experience with my English teacher and my friend. I always walk by my teacher's room and say "hi", and sometimes have a nice chat if I have time, we have a good relationship. The other part of it was if my friend actually committed suicide, how I would feel. I can relate to Takeda in this sense, almost always able to express my emotions through words, but when someone is dead, it's hard for me to say what I feel.
The thought of me being gone made me think of 'what would my English teacher do if I were dead?' Thus leading to this.
