The last bell of the day rings and I slam my locker closed. I turn around while holding one of my backpack straps on my shoulder. I see Lucas walking towards me. I am literally freaking out inside. I don't know what to do or how I look.
It's so crazy how I get so nervous and weird around him. I back up until my back is against my locker as he walks closer and closer. He places a hand above my shoulder against the locker to support him as he stand right in front of me.
"So you ready for tonight?"
"Y..ye..yeahh." I stutter and smile.
"I'll pick you up at around 7:30pm. Is that good with you?" Lucas asks.
"That's fine. I'm looking foreword to it." I say trying to withhold all of the crazy excitement and different emotions that's going through my head right now.
"Good." He says softly looking me in the eyes. His dark brown eyes are so perfect and I can't help but to fall under his trance every time.
He smiles, then pecks my cheek with a kiss before walking away with Daniel down the hallway.
I then see my least favorite person, Rebeca. She walks by me with a devious smirk and rolls her eyes then flips her hair. I swear I can't stand that girl. It's like she feeds off of making other people's lives miserable.
I try not to worry about her and focus on myself and all the good things that are happening right now. I almost forgot Hillary is supposed to be coming over so I can find an outfit for tonight.

By the time I reach my front porch Hillary is already pulling up in my driveway. She gets out of her car and follows me inside with bags in her hands.
"Why are you here so early?" I ask her confused and wondering why she has all these bags in her hands.
"Because I can and I bought you a few cute dresses for tonight. You have to decide on which one your wearing.""Wow you know you really didn't have to." I tell her as we begin to walk to my room.
"But I did anyway so it doesn't matter." She says throwing the bags on my bed.
"I'm like your fairy godfriend, if that makes since." She adds."It does but doesn't." I say back.
"Well we only have a few hours to do your hair, makeup, and decide on a dress so chop chop!" She says clapping her hands twice and rushing me to try on all the dresses.
Dress number one is not the dress for me. I can barely pull it up. It's a tight short blue dress that stops right above the knee. With just a small string holding it up over my shoulders. As soon as I walk out of the bathroom Hillary's face drops.
"We are definitely taking this back." I tell her.
"You damn right we are... Next!!" She yells.I walk away grabbing the next bag. I quickly take off the blue dress and put on a white one. The white dress is kind of big on me, plus white gets dirty easily so that means I will not be wearing this one for sure.
I take the dress off leaving me in only my underwear and bra. I walk into my room and throw both bags on the floor.
"Anymore dresses for me to try on?" I ask Hillary, crossing my arms.
"This is the last one. I really hope you actually like this one."
"I hope I do too." I say before walking away back to the bathroom.
This dress I actually like. It looks perfect. It's a short loose black v-neck dress. It's not too big or loose or too small. It's perfect and I know just what shoes I want to wear with it.
