My Nerdy Boy Transformed Into A Bad Ass

Chapter 1 school day

I woke up to the sound of chirping birds and squirrels running around. Haha bullshit! I mean I live just outside this city called Wilmington which is not a very big city compared to NYC but it's near the beautiful NC beaches. I just woke up to the usual of mom and dad screaming at each other.

I know. It's too early in the morning for regular people to be fighting! But it happens everyday and if I try to involve myself in the fight them they'll both turn it on me.

Anyways I dressed up in my purple t-shirt and some dark jeans. For shoes I just wore my black converse though I love wearing boots too.

I grabbed my book bag, phone, and beats, and then sneakily walked downstairs past my parents and out the door. I know I should've eaten something but my high school has breakfast there so I'll just get an apple or something.

I walked towards the school while putting my beats on my head and listened to my music on my iPhone 5 and it started playing demons by imagine dragons so I started singing it.

I passed my brothers house/apartment on the way to school. The building had about 5 stories and he had the penthouse since he became a very rich detective/lawyer. His apartment to me was pretty much my home since I spend more time there than I do at my own home.

My brother knows about my parents drinking an doing drugs but he couldn't do anything about it until he was able to have a really good reason to get a search warrant like if they decided to beat me (which is likely) then he will be able to get one but until I'm 18 I have to stay at my hellhole of a home.

I arrived at school but still had my beats in. I had a few friends. Taya, Autumn, and Jaycee. And then I course a few guy friends like: Austin, Dylan, and William. And I'm happy with those 6 friends even though some of them are are a higher level than me in popularity.

While I was getting books one of the jocks, Reed came to me and looked me over and said "you look fine, girl" I scoffed and said "whatever" and then grabbed the rest of my books and slammed my locker shut. I walked away but only was pulled back by Reed and he shoved me against the lockers and said "you don't just walk away from me" and he punched me in the face. I let him because I knew I couldn't win against him in a fight and soon I was losing conscious and then I heard "get your fucking ass off of her! Your a damn dickhead" the voice was not familiar and that's when I passed out.

I woke up and I was in a hospital and then I looked around to see all of my friends sitting there. "What happened?" I didn't quite remember anything. All I remember was I was at my locker and then everything else is blank.

"Reed started beating you up. I don't how you survived because when we arrived most people were standing there staring a-and-" Jaycee started explaining but she choked so William finished "and we saw someone walking off-it wasn't Reed but he was holding his hand as if he hurt it and some of us tried to chase him down but finally someone told us it was Reed and so we just looked at you and you w-were u-unconscious so we t-took y-you h-here" he finished.

Then I remembered everything from Reed saying I looked 'fine' to the mystery voice. I guess the mystery guy they were talking about was the one I heard and the one who got that jerk off of me.

"How bad are my injuries?" I asked and they didn't answer and I stared at them until finally Dylan talked. "You have a fractured rib, a broken nose, you had a cracked skull that the doctors fixed and that's everything Except for the other bruises that that jackass gave you. I swear when I get my hands on the bastard I will kill him" he said while gripping onto his jacket since there were only 3 chairs in my room and all the girls were sitting in them.

"Don't bother Dylan. I really don't want anymore drama." And then the door opened and the person said "too bad because that bastard is going to jail" an that person was my detective/lawyer brother, Jason. I smiled that he was here and then I rolled my eyes at his statement. "Fine but most likely he's only going to get a fine and he will definitely pay it off with his rich ass." Jason looked at me and said "don't you know I'm the best lawyer in town? I can't get him in jail for 30 years tops!" I giggled and shook my head in annoyance at his ego.

The door barged open and my parents walked in and mom said "whoever did this to you is your fault! When you get home you will clean the whole house and make it spotless and do anything wrong and I'll make sure you can't ever speak again!" And they both walked out while everyone looked very pissed especially my brother. All of them already knew about my parents and wanted to turn them in or just do something but I told them what my brother said. All the people in my room knew a lot about me and I knew a lot about them. I've known all my friends since I was 5 when I first saw them all in kindergarden and we clicked ever since.

All of my guy friends were on the football team. Austin is the fill in for the quarterback, Dylan is the goal kicker, and William is the defense tackle, and they also play basketball and soccer. The girls weren't the most popular but they were all real dressy but they were sweet girls unless you were on their bad side. Me I'm sort of just a tomboy because I hate shopping. I mean the only thing I like is shoes but I get like Adidas, supra, Vans, and Converse so that's the only reason I like it. And the clothes that I'm wearing? I'd rather wear a t-shirt, jeans and a hoodie than anything else.

Anyways to get back on track Jason said "your coming to live with me and that's final" he said while giving me his 'don't argue with me' glare and I didn't. I just nodded even though I knew my parents would just drag me back. I asked "so when am I able to get out of this hellhole?" I was replied with a bit of chuckles and a "tomorrow" from Autumn so when they all left after visiting hours I just stared around until I got sleepy so I fell asleep really fast.
