Chapter 32 Relieved and Happy

Skylar's POV

After about an hour later, Brandon came back and said "most of the guys have gone out for lunch. There's only a few guards now so let's go!"

I jumped up as he went behind me to untie my wrists and ankles. Then grabbed my arm and we hurried out.

We walked fast through the building, with a gun in hand for both of us.

I checked every corner and so did Brandon before we continued to walk in the direction of the exit.

"We are almost there." Brandon said.

Just after a guy came from a corner and began shooting at us. I pulled both of us behind a corner as I shot back.

I peeked from the corner and shot in the mans general direction.

I caught something shiny in Brandon's pocket.

A knife.

I grabbed it and just as the enemy popped out, I threw the knife directly at his face and I heard the ear shattering sound of the knife going through his skull.

"Damn." Brandon breathe as we passed the dead body.

"Yep." I mumbled.

Soon a few more men came at us and were all shot down by us two people.

"Nice shot." I said as he shot the last one straight in the sternum.

"Well I didn't go through CIA training for nothing." He stated.

"Oh. That's nice to know." I replied.

"Yep." He mimicked me from earlier.

We finally made it outside. But who we saw completely made my mood change.

"Fuck." Me and Brandon both mumbled.

Nathan's POV

When we came up to the familiar building, memories came flooding back and my jaw clenched.

"This is it." I said.

Just then I saw my girl and some random guy pop out of the entrance.

I jumped out and began to run to her but then I saw him. My blood boiled. He had a gun in his hand.

He better not shoot my girl.

Then I looked at her. My beautiful sapphire.

She and the stranger had a gun in their hand but they guy had the same outfit as him. So why is he near my girl also, with a gun?

I pulled out my gun and yelled "step the hell away from her you dick!"

He turned towards me and smirked.

"No. But I'll definitely have your girl though. She's pretty as a pickle." Then he turned to the man next to my girl.

"So you've betrayed me Brandon? After all I've threatened to do to your family?"

They man looked so scared. But for his family I could tell.

Wait, Brandon? That sounds familiar and when his eyes laid on me, recognition came into his features and he pointed his eyes to him, and mouthed "kill him."

I nodded by before I could, a gunshot rang out and I ducked in case it would hit me.

Then, I saw the man that had hurt me and my girl-physically and emotionally- on the ground. And I was so happy that a grin formed on my face.

He was still technically alive so I shoved my boot at his throat and said "goodbye, you worthless piece of shit." Then I blew a bullet through his skull.

"Nice shot baby girl." I said to her, referring to her shooting the first time. Me and Brandon knew that he would be distracted by me and Brandon talking so that gave her the chance to shoot, and she did.

"Thanks babe." She then gave me a kiss on the mouth and I kissed back.

I turned to Brandon. "Thanks man. For everything."

He nodded.

Brandon before he turned his life around, was in my gang. He then, after getting out of prison, got the CIA to hire him. It's not likely for that to happen usually, but they knew he was a good shot at spying, since that's what he did for me. And Brandon got stuck with this douche and I figured that out and texted him a favor, protection.

For his family and anyone he loves, if he helped to save my girl.

And Brandon, while helping her escape, explained some of it to her so she would understand this was the plan. There were cameras in that room so they had to pretend this was just a come for the run plan and that I wasn't in it at all.

And now. My baby is safe and back with family.

Skylar's POV

I was with family now, and my boyfriend. After I hugged them all I said "you guys better not have been harsh on my boyfriend. If you were, I'll be pissed." They looked nervous then they hurried to Nathan and began apologizing once I glared at them.

Soon police and FBI arrived and CIA for Brandon.

What shocked me is that the FBI asked my boyfriend if he wanted his gang to be undercover spies to catch other gangs.

I nodded at Nathan and he told them yes despite his hate for the police.

Everything is starting to work out great.
