Chapter 9 Changed

Nathan's POV:

I wasn't surprised that it was her, well her brother searching me but what surprised me is how much more beautiful she looked, and how she had changed. I didn't really see her that night a month ago and last night when I was doing business near that clearing where she was having a date with... Him. I've heard stories about him and was surprised she had gone with him but at the time I was glad she was moving on.

But when I knew it was here searching for me, I kind of felt happy but yet mad because I had told her to move on. I still love her, even if I won't admit it to her. The only way to get her to stop with this is to be like I was to her today... A complete cocky douche bag.

My heart had sped up at her answer for why she was searching for me.... To see me one last time. To know I was okay. For all she could've known someone else could've wrote that letter in my handwriting and shoved it under her door. But no one else did. It. Was. Me.

And I was determine to make her move on. Even if it killed me.

Skylars POV:

When I got home It was around 3. And Jason had been home. He had realized someone noticing his searching and asked me where I was and continuously interrogated me. And I told him I had went to the park and took pictures with my phone. Which wasn't entirely a lie, I had gone there after leaving that warehouse where all hell broke lose.

After the interrogating I went to my room and just thought about the events of today.

I knew he was lying about me being a bitch but it got to me. But when he was so close to my face, my heart was beating so fast that I thought it would jump out of my rib cage! And he said he wanted me to move on but I saw the sadness and the love in his eyes so I knew deep down he still loved me and wanted me. And that was why I couldn't let him go.... Because I knew he still loves me even though he's changed.

A knock on my door disturbed my thoughts.

"Hey Sky, your boyfriends here." Oh joy. I really feel bad for making him my boyfriend after I knew I still loved Nathan.

"Okay I'm coming." And I quickly got up and went out of my room.

When I saw Will, his face was pale. What the hell?

"Hi, Skylar can I talk to you in private?" He was fiddling with his fingers so I knew he was nervous. "Okay. Let's go in my room." And he followed me into my room and after I shut the door behind me I asked him "What's wrong?" He gulped and said "I-I can't be with you, Skylar." I gasped. "Why not?" Even if I don't love him, he was the one who asked me out and wanted this relationship so why doesn't he want to anymore? "Because I've been in some bad shit for a while and the people in the bad shit threatened me to break up with you otherwise they'll kill you slowly and then kill me." I gulped and said "O-okay as long as we can still be friends, I'm okay with that." He smiled gratefully and said "Yes. I'm sorry Skylar, I really did want to be with you but once your in this shit, you can't get out." And with that, he left.

Didn't someone say something similar to what he said:'once your in this shit, you can't get out.'? Yep. And that was Nathan. So they must be in the same shit.
