Chapter 24 Assessing The Injuries

Skylar's POV:
I eventually found Gabriel in a bathroom close to the wrestling ring that I just beat Nathan's ass at, and so I knocked on the closed door and I heard him say, "come in" and so I did.

He was trying to clean his face of blood while holding his abdomen with his other hand. Basically he looked horrible.

I walked up to him and looked around for a first aid kit and found it and grabbed a tissue and said "head up" so I could put the tissue on his nose and stop the bleeding and he obeyed.

"Hold it there please." And he took it from me while still keeping his head up. I grabbed a wet tissue to get the dried blood off his face and he asked me "did you kick his ass?" I snorted and said "do you see one injury on me?
No so yeah I kicked his ass. Pissing me off saying 'I have no upper body strength' like what the hell is that shit when I punched him so hard I heard his neck crack!" I rambled and Gabriel chuckled and said "well I'm glad you did because this shit hurts."

"Oh you big baby." I teased ad he pouted while I laughed and grabbed the ointment that you put on scratches and cuts and put some on his face and he winced so I rubbed it slowly and lightly.

"You know you do have to be gentle. I can take worse pain than this." He said and I smiled.

"Oh quit trying to be tough and let a girl baby you for once. Geez gangsters are such drama queens!" And then we both laughed.

"I can see why Nathan has chased after you all these years. Your funny, cute, and feisty. Just how any guy would really want 'em." I blushed and said "shut up! That's just too cheesy for me!" And he chuckled.

He was still holding his stomach so I said "okay. Take off your shirt."

"Well someone's eager!" He teased and I rolled my eyes and said "shut up and take it off so I can look at that abdomen your holding."

He made the noise of a cat meowing but took it off anyway. I pulled his hand away and he winced. I took a small nursing class at school and so I learned how to examine if a bone is broken or just fractured.

I pushed around his abdomen and asked if it hurt. Turns out, Nathan did punch and kick him hard enough to crack that bone. He needs to go to a doctor.

"You really need to go to a doctor!" I yelled for the 5th time at Gabriel but he kept denying.

"I swear if you don't get that damn rib taken care of, I will go bat-shit crazy and kill everyone including Nathan for doing this to you!" I yelled at him once again and his eyes widened but he shook his head.

That's fucking it. I stormed out and grabbed the biggest knife I could find. Secretly I knew how to throw knives. I wasn't an expert at it but I was good to when I saw Nathan pop out of nowhere I threw it at him and it landed in the wall before him.

"Holy shit! Are you-" I cut him off by yelling "SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU MOTHERFUCKER AND LISTEN TO ME!" He shut up immediately and gulped. He looked behind me but turned back quickly to me and before I could turn around someone touched me and my reflexes kicked in and I elbowed whoever it was in their stomach and they groaned really loud.

I turned around and it was Gabriel.

"Fuck! I'm sorry Gabriel!" And I helped him up.

"Damn you've got good reflexes!" He said and I chuckled but then quit when I realized I was doing something else. I turned back to Nathan and walked closer to him and brought Gabriel with me and then moved his hand on his stomach and lifted his hurt to show Nathan the bruise forming. After a few seconds I yelled "SEE YOU DICKHEAD?! YOU FUCKING SEE?! YOU FUCKING HURT YOUR BEST FRIEND TO SHOW A STUPID POINT! I KNOW YOUR A STRONG MAN NATHAN BUT YOU WENT TO FUCKING FAR! YOU CRACKED HIS RIB AND OHHHH! I WAS SO FUCKING MAD I PROBABLY MADE IT WORSE!" I was heaving with anger now and Nathan's face was full of guilt but he still pushed my buttons more.
