*Emily's POV*
It had been a few days since we had arrived in New-York and this was the day we were going to school.
"Emily! Wake up, you need to get ready!" A familiar voice said. "Five more minutes" I complained, I didn't want to wake up it was too early. Suddenly I had heard footsteps of the person who had called me.
"Listen you look adorable, but you need to get up." I instantly sat up. "Really?." I asked still half asleep. "yeah" Leo said with a calm voice. "what time is it?" I asked I was curious since ya know I just woke up. "School starts in one hour," He said smirking as he knew I would panic.
"HOLY SHIT!" I yelled as I quickly got up to push Leo out of my room. Once I got dressed, I headed to the kitchen and met up with everyone.

There were at least seven really expensive cars outside. Enough to fit all of us, a few minutes later once we had left we all arrived in the school's driveway. Everyone and I mean everyone looked at us. "Just like I remember it," Percy said looking around. I was wearing the skull hoodie Piper had made me over some random outfit I had found in my closet.
We walked through the school to go to the principles office. I slightly hid behind Nico hugging his arm the entire time because everyone was looking at us and whispering.

Most my classes were with Nico, which I was pretty happy about. Except for the swimming classes, he didn't want to join so he chose something else.
First class was Latin and ancient Greek. (I don't care if it's not even a class go with it) Which was also our homeroom. Once we entered the class I could hear many whispers going all around the room, I was very nervous so this didn't help.
Two boys, in particular, caught my attention though, they didn't send out a human aura, or smell. "The new girl, I think she's one of us" The one with honey colored eyes whispered to his friend. The green eyed boy the looked at me; as if he was looking for something but couldn't find it. It really creeped me out.
"Please go take a seat in the back." The teacher said. Nico and I sat down where the teacher told us to sit and we were happy since we wouldn't get that much attention. I could still hear the two boys whispering but I decided to ignore it.
"Can you please introduce yourselves to the class?" The teacher nicely asked. I stood up fear was evident in my eyes. I kept my hands in my pockets.
*Nico's POV*
"I- um. Hello- I'm Emily, and I'm very shy, I don't talk much. I don't like to smile either. My mom was killed by a mons-" Her had turned yellow at this mention. I saw this and I became nervous, I didn't want anything bad to happen in class too. But I'm sure the mist would help. Or was it just for monsters? I don't remember. She cleared her throat nervously,
"I don't like to talk about myself, and this is my best friend." I smiled at her statement. She made it pretty clear that I was 'her's' I didn't mind though, someone honestly. I could understand how she felt about someone else she cared about in her life.
"Um... Nicolas, may I ask for you to talk about yourself?." The teacher asked I sat up and gave a straight face.
"Hi, I'm Nico. And I don't like talking about myself." I said in the most monotone voice I could. Emily looked at me and smiled, I still couldn't get over how beautiful she was.
*Emily's POV*
I could hear those two boys whispering and it annoyed me. They were talking about someone similar to them but I'm sure it isn't me. "Does anyone here can tell me some of the god's name?." The teacher asked. I lifted up my hand so fast that Nico jumped. The teacher looked around to see if anyone else were going to lift up their hand.
"Go ahead Emily," She said. Even if I was a shy person I wasn't going to pass up an opportunity to prove that I knew stuff. "Hades-" I said but I posed to rethink all of them to be sure I remembered. Some girl in the class whispered to her friend "Of course the emo kid knows the god of death" she said. That made me really mad.
"Poseidon, Apollo, Hera, Zeus, Iris, Ares, Hermes, Nike, Nemesis, Athena, Demeter, Aphrodite, Hypnos, Hecate, Artemis, Tyche, Hebe, Hephaestus, Dionysus, and many many more," I said and smiled. The entire class looked at me in amazement except for Nico, since I basically named every cabin in camp. He just smiled at me. The teacher clapped her hands together, I could tell she was surprised. "Alright thank you Emily," she said. We continued the class just fine.

It was now lunch time, 'death breath' and I was heading back to our lockers. When suddenly
someone grabbed my wrist. Percy arrived at the same time but didn't notice me, he proceeded to walk away with Nico whilst talking. I turned around to see who had grabbed my wrist just to notice that it wasn't anyone I actually knew. I was really confused, it was the same guy who was whispering in class, the one with honey colored eyes.
"What do you want?" I snapped I didn't want to be here, it was stressful. I didn't want to attract any attention though. The two boys seemed to have similar thoughts as well. I also noticed a taller teenager standing behind them, seemed to be their friend but also looked like he didn't care at all. "Have fun guys I'm leaving," He said as he walked over into a less crowded area of the school.
The two other boys looked at each other. "I'm Matt or Matias, nice to meet you." He said with a grin. My eyes widened at the second name he mentioned as this was a birth name a werewolf could have. Considering mine was Femi.
Matt had green eyes and black hair, he was pretty tall a few inches taller than me. "I'm Ethan.-" He said pausing. "Or Miles, Nice to meet you." He said with a smile. "How did you know?" I asked panicked. I didn't understand how easily they had found out. Yet myself had suspicions of them being werewolves. They both sighed in relief, I guess that they could've guessed wrong.
Ethan had brown hair and honey colored eyes, he looked like he could kill anyone at any second. "I'm Emily or Femi, nice to meet you," I said with a smile. They both smiled at me but their expression quickly changed. I turned around to notice Percy and Nico coming towards us, both of them had anger in their eyes, I wondered why. I walked towards them but Percy ignored me and walked past me, Nico just put a hand on my shoulder and looked at me with worried eyes.
