I still couldn't get over the fact that Nico had asked me to turn him into a werewolf. (Even though it's usually a male that will bite the female it's possible to have it the other way around.) Though you see the side effects are pretty bad, they last a few hours because there are a lot of changes that happen to the body. (If you're confused, we had slept basically all day)

I was still very aware that werewolves weren't really accepted amongst the community, even between demigods. If camp ever found out Nico was a werewolf they would blame it on me, not even thinking about what he thought about it. I would become an outcast, a monster, we both would.

I shivered as I thought about yesterday, when I bit him, the state of vulnerability he was in was heartbreaking for me. I had to drag him to his cabin because he had fainted. I had to watch over him in the night in case he woke up. There wasn't anything I could do about it, he would complain a lot.

"Hey, Emi? Is this normal?" I immediately turned to face him, he had bags under his eyes and he was incredibly pale, still, his skin was burning. "It's a weird feeling, I feel like my body's on fire," he groggily said. I sighed, I couldn't understand the feeling since I never went through it. I gently touched his forearm in a reassuring way.

"Yeah, It's normal. Our body temperature is higher than a normal human being."

He looked at me with a face that said 'Really? How do you live like this?' I bit the inside of my cheek to keep myself from laughing, even though a small smile crept onto my lips.

"Don't look at me like that," I said with a smile, "You asked for it, literally."

He looked down slightly, I could tell he was blushing even though half his face was hidden because of the bad lighting in the cabin, even if it was dark I didn't really mind it anymore. The greek fire that lit up the room gave it a weird green effect (which I personally thought looked awesome) I shifted my position to be sitting next to the dark haired boy, Side hugging him while burying my face into his neck.

"Your vision, smell, and hearing will be enhanced as well as your physical strength. You won't get sick too, and you'll probably have a wolf form. Your eyes'll change color." I chuckled at the face he made, he looked like he just got slapped and paled even more. He grabbed my hand shyly playing with my fingers.

"So when will I stop being sick?" I thought for a moment, he wasn't sick. It was mostly side effects. I looked at him happily and smiled "A few hours at least" he looked at me happily and smiled hugging me. His canines hadn't shown yet, it was the end of the entire process the last thing to appear to be visible.

I stayed a few hours with him before heading out. As I walked around towards the pavilion I watched as all the campers headed over, most of them laughing with their friends and having fun. I kinda felt bad for him, but there was no turning back now. We were part of each other.

I kept on walking hearing the annoying sound of the horn signaling us to head for dinner. I was worried about my best friend (and boyfriend), but when I left he was sleeping.

"Emily!"

I didn't turn around.

"Hey! Fish brain!"

I continued ignoring them. I heard them sigh before I felt their hand on my shoulder, I closed my eyes and sighed as they turned me around. "Emily?" he said, his voice laced in concern. "Hey... Connor," I opened one of my eyes to see he was indeed in front of me.
