"C'mon! We have to keep moving quickly!"
Emily wanted to reply with 'no shit Sherlock!' but held herself back. She looked back, quickly which was a mistake on her part. They were being chased by a group of monsters because ya know why not?
The girl had been running for a mile non-stop and was starting to get tired, unlike Nico who was able to shift into his wolf immediately and Connor who was able to run for a surprisingly long time. Emily was having trouble getting her wolf to agree with her.
They were running in the middle of the desert followed, they were now in LA but weren't close to any town or village. The girl looked back once again, her eyes widening as a Chimera pounced towards her "Emily watch out!"
She pushed herself to move faster as the beast's paw aimed for her legs, she jumped in panic landing in a soft thud and a flash of blue light. Surprising Connor slightly as she advanced in front of him as a wolf. They slowed down when they spotted an old looking cottage in the distance.
The monsters being out of sight, the two wolves tilted their heads when they heard Connor sigh in relief, getting a better view of what the boy was looking at.

As they walked along the dimly lit road, the sun was setting in a beautiful array of colors. The campers had caught three cabs and a lot of running to get into the wilds. The moon was beautiful and seemed to glow in the sky. "There's the cabin over there," Nico pointed out while holding his girlfriend's hand.
His friends gazed towards the direction he was pointing, it was indeed the creepy hotel thing(?) they had spotted earlier. Emily had gotten a bad feeling as soon as she laid eyes on it. But the teenagers still walked inside, even though the black haired girl had a feeling something bad would happen.
"Hello, children! May I help you poor demigods?" Connor jumped in surprise as an old woman came from behind them, she had long tangled white hair that went down to her waist, a crooked nose, and piercing white eyes. Emily squeezed Nico's hand as she watched the woman's every move.
"Um, we'd like one room?" The young girl quickly pronounced. She could only be suspicious that the old woman was a monster she had never seen before. Nico and Connor looked hesitant on taking one room only but understood the girl's choice as well.
The white haired female led them to an old moldy staircase, smiling in fake sweetness as the demigods quickly went up the stairs. "Second room to your left."
[...]
Nico had been the first one to enter the room, followed by Emily, then Connor. "I don't have a good feeling about this place," Connor exclaimed, the two werewolves nodded in agreement as they looked around quickly. "I'm going to look around," Emilly said stubbornly as she walked out not letting anyone the chance to protest.

It was an eternity for the boys, Connor kept insisting for them both to go look for the black haired girl, though Nico denied every time. "Why don't you want to go look for your girlfriend?! She could be in danger!"
Nico scowled at his friend standing up from his spot on the bed, "She's fine right now! I would've known if she was in danger! Why do you even care?!" Nico sighed angerly after seeing Connor's face full of fear, sitting back down he put his head in his hands. "I'm sorry. I lost control."
Connor nodded, feeling awkward. He wasn't used to Nico losing his temper too often, to him it looked to be something werewolves seemed had trouble with.
Nico's head shot up from his hands as he heard heavy footsteps coming down the hall, catching the brown haired boy's attention. "What?"
"Someone's coming," Nico didn't keep his wolf from surfacing as he started to feel the need to protect himself. He was starting to regret not going to look for Emily. The footsteps grew louder, making the two boys panic and fumble around for their sword/dagger.
They entered the room, Nico didn't think he would see them again. At first gaze, you would've thought it was a very (very) attractive young man, who so happened to look like Emily. To both of the boys, the man had turquoise/green eyes, shoulder length black hair, and freckles around his nose and cheeks. He was fairly muscular, he wore a Greek toga but surprisingly didn't have his usual bow and arrows.
His wings fluttered in excitement, "Why do you look so much like Emily?" Was Connors first thought, which he accidentally voiced making Nico turn his head in his direction slowly, enraged. The black haired boy sighed in frustration.
It had caught the curly headed boy off-guard that the God looked so much like the girl he loved. The man only chuckled in return, his hair swaying gently as he tilted his head back. Smiling, he looked at Nico. "I'm sure you know why," he said. Nico knew who the God was, he had encountered him last year.
Eros, god of desire and attraction
Nico wanted to laugh but it had gotten stuck in the back of his throat Connor's words repeating inside his head, 'why do you look so much like Emily?' he scowled "What do you want?"
The God smiled sweetly, his smile would have made Nico's heart melt if it were his girlfriend wearing it. His face suddenly became serious. "I've come here to warn you." Nico and Connor looked at the minor god in confusion, tilting his head to the side like a lost puppy Nico asked, "Warn us about what?"
The God chuckled, his eyes twinkling in amusement, Eros advanced touching Nico's cheek like Emily had done previously. "You see, they are trying to keep you from finding what they stole from me." Nico was confused, who was they?
He would have to talk about it to Emily. The God backed away and smiled once again "close your eyes," he said sweetly as he disappeared in a flash of light.
