*Nico's POV*

Emily backed away from me when I had touched her shoulder, I guess I scared her because when she turned to look at me her eyes were a bright amber color. She suddenly collapsed to the ground, I caught her before her head hit the rough dirt. Percy and others looked pretty surprised, until the green eyed boy seemed furious.

"That's it, we're going home!" Percy said, almost yelled. He rushed over to Emily and picked her up gently. Sending daggers Dominic's way, he left holding her bridal style in his arms. All of us followed him, Jason and I left last glaring at him as we walked away.

"What do you think she meant, that she already found her mate? It can't be one of us none of us are werewolves." Hazel asked. She knew I liked her, and I could hear the faint sadness in her voice. I smiled to myself, but it soon disappeared, mate... That's a werewolf term for soulmate right? It could be anyone she knows.

"Actually, werewolves can have human mates, but I think I personally know who it is." Annabeth answered I felt myself straighten up, "Who?!" Leo and I asked at the same time, we glared at each other before turning back to Annabeth.

Percy placed Emily in his car, as Jason and Frank sat with him. I wanted to sit by her side but there wasn't any more room in his car, so the five of us hopped into Annabeth's car as she got in.

*Percy's POV*

I tried not to panic, werewolves, honestly I don't like their kind too much. I know that my sister can fight her own battles, but I'm greatly annoyed that they tried dragging her into this.

Once we arrived home, about ten minutes later, Emi was still knocked out, If it continues like this we'll have to go back to camp. She had the absolute worst of luck.

I brought her up to her room, gently putting her in her bed, leaving as soon as I came. I know Annabeth once told me 'Werewolves have more strength and a faster healing process' I thought about it, she should wake up soon then.

Not too long after the other five arrived, "Is she okay?!" Nico asked as soon as he entered the house. As soon as I answered he ran up the stairs and up to her room. His eyes had shown so much worry I almost started worrying myself. "Where's Nico? Did he run upstairs already?" I nodded as I walked away into the living room, Hazel sighed and walked away.

*Emily's POV*

I opened my eyes, blinking a few times to adjust to the light around me. Sitting up, I noticed I was in my room. Wasn't I in the forest earlier? I shrugged as I looked around my eyes landing on someone holding my hand. "Nico?" I said tiredly, his head quickly shot up to look at me.

"Thank the gods you're okay!" He said relief filling his voice. "Of course I'm okay. When haven't I been okay?" I playfully giggled, slowly getting up I pulled him up with me. The raven haired boy tackled me in a hug making me fall onto my bed. I laughed at his antics, I thought it was adorable that he worries so much about me.

*Nico's POV*

We looked into each other's eyes as we pulled away from our hug. Her eyes were so much brighter than they used to be. They look a lot more like Percy's now that she's happier. We spent a lot of time together over the past two years and helped each other be happier. I don't know what I would do without her, I don't even know if I would be able to survive.

When she fainted, (she seems to faint a lot, probably from exhaustion) Percy, Annabeth, and Jason thought of going back to camp but decided not too. I slowly pulled her to sit down on her bed, sitting beside her after. We sat in a comfortable silence for awhile, as neither of us knew what to say.

"Thanks, Nico," The green-eyed girl said. She wasn't looking at me, she used to do that when she talked last year. Now she just does it when she's nervous, which is often. "What are you saying thanks for?" I questioned, she played with the hem of her shirt for awhile before answering.

"Because you've always been there for me-" I gaped at her, I wasn't expecting her to say something like that. She looked up with an innocent expression on her face, her cheeks contained a slightly pink hue which, I guess mine did too. We both started leaning in and the next thing I knew I was kissing her. I didn't put too much thought into it and kissed back. I was the first one to pull away.

"I- (she looked like she was looking for words) I really care about you Nico and I wanted to tell you that-"

I looked at her confused as to my she had stopped talking. She walked over to the door opening it. Once she did, four people fell onto the floor, I could tell it was all of the girls but there was also a lump of curls. Annabeth and Hazel got up and ran out of the room leaving Piper and Leo behind.

"Piper, Leo? For Poseidon's sake, what are you guys doing?!" Emily asked, almost yelled. I decided to watch, this should be amusing. "Um...Eavesdropping?" Leo said getting hit by Piper on the back of his head. Emily and I looked at each other for a second, I could tell in her eyes she was disappointed. She growled slightly turning back to Piper and Leo who were ready to run.

"Hey, Emi?" Her head snapped in my direction. I could hear both Leo and Piper running down the hallway as she walked over to me, sitting down on her desk chair and looked at me expectingly "What did you want to tell me earlier?" I asked.

"Guys come down and eat!" Jason yelled from downstairs. We both sighed as we exited her room. We quickly entered the kitchen and sat at the table waiting for everyone else.

Emily kept staring into space as we were eating, each time a question was sent her way she just nodded. I don't even think she knew what we were asking her. She quickly got up accidentally hitting the table making everything on it move slightly. Everybody turned to look at her as her face went red in embarrassment.

" You alright Emi?" Percy asked, confusion visible in his voice, she mumbled a quick 'sorry' before running upstairs. We heard her bedroom door slam shut as we all looked at each other puzzled.
