Chapter 15 - Whoops?

*Emily's POV*

It had been a few days since Nico and I had started dating. We went to school as usual with everyone else. He had repeated numerous times that he'd always protect me.  I still don't know what Jason and Percy told him that day.

Now, we're back home "Guys! Chiron messaged me. (Annabeth ran into the room) he says he wants us to go back to camp." a small smile crept onto my lips, sitting up I looked over to Annabeth "Really?" She nodded, "You could go pack if you want. (She paused and averted her gaze between Nico and I) I'm gonna go tell the others." She then left.

I got up and sprinted up the stairs "Emilyyyy" Nico groaned from the first floor, giggling I started packing my things.

I ran downstairs, I had decided I would bring my phone and computer,  I think everyone did the same. I still had the ambrosia and nectar Will had given me, but it wasn't for me. Werewolves have better healing than mortals, so it's harder to get hurt.

I also had extra clothes, just in case. And money. Yeh.

"You guys ready to leave?" There was a mumbled 'yes' from everyone as we walked outside, we had this big car that could hold at least ten people, so we drove the big car instead of driving in two separate small cars. Once we were all inside the car we left for a six-hour drive.

*Percy's POV*

Everyone went to sleep except Jason, Frank, and I. We were taking turns in driving.

It was almost the end of the school year, we never did much at Yancy but it was always a fun school. I looked over to Frank who was almost falling asleep driving, I couldn't help but chuckle.

"Guys! We're here, we've got to get off!"  I yelled I was wide awake, but none of them moved. We were supposed to walk into the forest so we were going to leave the car here. I snorted, the only person who started waking up was Annabeth. Nico and Emily had fallen asleep cuddling, even though I didn't want him to touch her it was pretty adorable.

"GUYS"  screamed making Annabeth look at me as if I was crazy, I did get them to wake up though. "Percy whyyy" I smiled sheepishly "Emily whyyy"  I mimicked, she groaned pushing Nico aside to get out of the car, waking him up (I don't know how he was still asleep but ok).

Once everyone had got out we all marched into the forest. I noticed Emily kept twitching "It smells weird." she said with a disgusted look on her face. I remember Tyson was able to smell monsters "Um. Guys stay on guard." They all visibly stiffened but stayed calm.

We continued walking towards camp, all of us were on high alert and waiting for any sudden movements. Suddenly Emily stopped, her head turning towards a bush, I couldn't see anything there but she seemed to have found something. She stopped waiting for a second, when a hell hound suddenly jumped out of nowhere, followed by a couple more monsters.

We let her fight it alone as the other hell hounds were ganging up on us. "Uhh guys I think we might have a problem."

"You think?!" Piper yelled Jason, sent a faint smile her way while trying to fight off one of the numerous monsters. There was at the very least 6 more hell hounds, we were surrounded. As if it couldn't get any worse, a Cyclops came out of nowhere, trashing around as if the trees were nothing.

It wasn't a full grown Cyclops, but it was at the very least two times my height. We were all separated, as we fought our own battles against other monsters. Everything around us was destroyed. It looked like a complete battle field, which I guess it was.

And you might be thinking, but who is fighting the cyclops, Percy? Well my dear reader, since we were all fighting the hell hounds, Emily and Nico were fighting it.

*Time skip*

Once I finished fighting I turned around to see if anyone needed any help. Then my eyes landed on my sister and Nico. The boy stumbled back after being hit in the head by an over sized stick. Emily helped him stay put by putting her hands on his shoulders, the others went to kill off the cyclops.

I couldn't move, I was frozen in place. Nico brought one of his hands up to my sisters face, she looked at him, looking heartbroken, like her entire world was being shattered. "I love you," he said then fell to the ground. She just stared at his body, nobody dared to go near them, it was completely silent.

Until she fell to the ground beside him. I had never seen her look so miserable. I would've hugged her if I could but I couldn't move, at all. Nico's skull was bleeding, half his face was covered in blood. We were all bloody, but he was the bloodiest.

Emily's head sat on his chest, Hazel tried pulling her away but with no avail. It took me a lot of strength to walk over to her, but I did. I knelled down beside her and forcefully hugged her. Which, resulted in her crying into my shirt. I didn't want to see her like this, I would never have wanted her to live something like this, nobody did.

  We were half-way to camp already. I kept telling her that everything would be alright, but I knew it wouldn't be fine. That she wouldn't be fine.

Jason had picked Nico's cold limp body up, we weren't going to leave him there. I had to drag my sister up half-blood hill since she could barely walk. I got slightly annoyed of dragging her so I resulted to picking her up instead. Then all of her crying started again.

She kept repeating things like 'It's all my fault' or 'I could've done something'. I mean, I know all this sounds cliche but, it happened.

Once we entered the camp, we were surrounded by campers asking questions. Will then came up to me "Is she alright?" I looked at him, it was obvious that she wasn't, she was still crying. I looked towards Jason, who was still holding Nico absentmindedly, Will followed my gaze and gasped inwardly holding his breath.

"Oh, gods.."

"What?"

"This is going to be bad for your sister,"  He turned around gazing over the crowd of people that were still crowding around us (he looked like he was looking for someone).

"Austin! (his brother appeared from the back of the mass, he pointed to Nico and Jason) can you do me a favor and bring Nico to the infirmary, please?"

I stared at the blond boy walking away with my sisters boyfriend in his arms.

"Emily can you stand please?" I asked softly, she nodded wiping away the tears that stained her cheeks as I carefully placed her on the ground.

Once her eyes were opened she turned her head to look at me, her eyes were much darker then they had been when we first met. Emily turned around to look at Will, they looked at each other for a minute before he asked her if she wanted to talk about it. Her eyes became watery again as they walked together.

I felt bad I couldn't help her, that I just stared at her. I felt someone's hand on my shoulder.

"Do you think they'll be okay?"

"I hope so, Annabeth."

I looked around in our group. Nobody was smiling, I guess everyone felt pain, but not as much as my sister. I turned around once again as someone tapped my shoulder. It was Kayla, Will's younger sister. She was much shorter than me with sandy blond hair.
