*Emily's POV*
I woke up to Percy shaking me awake, we had to hurry to the pavilion. It was a few days after I had told Percy when was my birthday and unfortunately for me he had told the seven, Nico, and the Stolls. Which I didn't mind but Nico was a bit butt hurt that I didn't tell him before.
We were all sitting at out tables when Jason came up to me
"So you're birthday is tomorrow huh?" He looked up at Percy as he was crouched beside me they both nodded at each other leaving me confused. He then got up and left. Nico then quickly approached me.
"Emily tomorrow can we pleaaaaaaase spend time together?" He whined. He really did want to spend time with me. Since it was rare that he ever begged for anything. "Sure" I giggled. He turned around to go sit with Hazel back at his table.
"What was that all about?" Percy shrugged, I felt that they were all hiding something from me but I didn't know what. "I'm going to the beach." I said as I slowly got up and started walking away. "Call us if anything happens!" Percy yelled as the seven and a few others agreed. 'I don't understand, why is everyone so weird today.?'
*3rd POV*
Emily had gone to the beach because she wanted to think about what her life has become over the past two years. So here's a big dip inside her head:
She is a very anxious person, she had been paranoid thinking everyone was against her. She was a very quiet person who didn't like talking to people or being touched. The only people she would talk to was the seven, Nico, Travis and Connor.

It was sunset but I didn't want to go to bed yet. I had been at the beach all day since I didn't feel like training. I then heard footsteps coming behind me, so, I quickly turned around reaching for my sword, just to realize that Connor was coming towards me. He looked pretty nervous.
"Hey Emily" He said calmly, since he knew I didn't like excited people. I looked up at him patting the sand beside me for him to sit down. "Hey, what's up? I asked.
"O-oh... Nothing.." His voice trailed off. I looked over to the ocean. I usually keep a swimsuit under my clothes.
"You alright?" He tensed up right after hearing those words.
"Y-yeah I'm fine! Wh-why would you think that?!" He nervously laughed bringing his hand to the back of his neck.
I decided to smile at him, which made him blush. "Wanna go for a swim?" I asked. He nodded as he got up, to then help me stand. I took off my clothes to reveal a sea green bikini, which made Connor blush even more. I have to admit though, it was pretty adorable.
A few minutes later, we both ran into the water and hanged out for awhile, until Percy and Nico came to find us.
"Emily! You missed the campfire!" He looked around. "Hey Connor-" Percy said waving his hand at him but then paused his sentence and looked back at the teenage boy. "Wait, since when are you here?" Nico raised an eyebrow questioning what we were doing. "Nico!" I yelled as I tackled him to the ground.
"wassup" I asked sitting down beside him, he chuckled.I got back up and ran over to get my clothes that I had left on a boulder not to far away. Nico followed me.
"So what were you doing? I thought that you wanted to be alone." Nico looked at me curiously. 'Of course he wants to know' I told myself. I could see an overprotective glint in his eyes, I smiled, which softened his expression.
"Yeah, I did want to be alone but Connor came to see me so we hung out." I gestured over to him and Percy.
"Hey Emi?" He asked. "Yeah Neeks?" He cringed at the nickname I had given him but soon recovered. "Thank you" He said, I looked at him confused. "For what?" I questioned. "For everything" He finished.
*Nico's POV*
"Thanks for everything" I said. She then smiled at me I smiled back. "I'm the one who should be thanking you really." She said, finding her feet interesting all of a sudden.
I felt my cheeks flush. "Why?" I asked, interested on what her answer would be.
"Well..." Her voice trailed off. She then look away, I slightly smiled as I could tell she was blushing.
"You've stayed beside me, supported and cared for me all this time and even after finding what I was you still stood right beside me." She looked up at me. I didn't really know how to answer, so I just hugged her.
"HEY DON'T TOUCH MY SISTER!" We heard Percy yell from the other side of the beach, glaring daggers at Nico.
