Chapter 17

Zayn pov

The plane finally landed and i practically bolted off of it. I didn't have to go through security since i had no luggage so i just went outside and went into a taxi. "South shields hospital" i say. The guy nods and drives off.

During the ride i kept on thinking about Pez. Was she gonna be okay? A tear streamed down my face a i wiped them away. He finally reached the place and gave him some cash i had in my pocket and ran out.

I went to the front desk and said "Perrie edwards" she nods her head and looks through her computer. "Level 5 room 504" she says. I nod my head and thank her then run to the lifts. As soon as one comes i run in and press level 5.

Within 5 seconds, i reach the level. I quickly step out of the lifts and go to room 504 only to see Kath, Layla Pez's mum and siblings all sitting there tears down their face. Kath notices me and runs to me and hugs me i hug her back then we let go of each other.

"Im glad you come" she says. I nod my head and sit next to her. "Is she okay?" I ask. "The rock hit her in a very dangerous place very hard and it went in a little so there having a surgery now" Jonnie tells me. "She should be out within a few minutes" he also says.

I nod my head and look across the room and see Perrie's sister caitlyn hugging her knees with a pale face. I stand up and walk over to her and sit beside. "You ok?" I say. She shakes her head a no. "I can't lose her Zayn" she says.

"Caitlyn none of us can." I say wrapping a arm around her shoulder. She looks at me and wraps her arms around my waist and i wrap my arms around her back as she cries into my shoulder.

She stays there for a few minutes then releases me. "She is very lucky to have you" she says. I smile and say "No I'm very lucky to have her". "Awe you guys are so cute" she says finally smiling. I smile back at her then a doctor comes out of her room.

"Are you here for Miss Edwards?" He asks. We nod our heads. "Well we have done the surgery and now she is in coma. She only has 5 hours though. If she dosen't wake up by then, she is gone" he says. Caitlyn looks down as the tears stream down her face.

"Hey we have 5 hours" i say wiping away one of her tears. She nods her head and puts on a fake smile. "You can all come into her room" he says. We nod and thank him as we walk into Perrie's room.

She was laying there, her face pale and her lips the lightest shade of pink. They had a bandaged her head. Perrie's mom gestured me to the chair right beside Perrie. I nod my head and smile and sit next to her as her mom sits next to me.

I hold her hand and say "I know your gonna make it pez. Your my fighter. I love you" i say. "How did it happen?" I ask looking towards the girls. "Im not sure. Perrie sent me home and invited Kath and Layla." Her mom says.

I nod my head look at those two "What happened?" I ask. "Um well Perrie wanted us to get along so we were and she said she was gonna take a nap so we nodded and let her. We then heard her scream Zayn and we ran right up to her room. She looked petrified. I could tell it wasn't just loosing you. But i didn't want to push her. She then got a call and looked scared when she was talking to them. She said it was a wrong number." Kath says.

"And then she called you we left and we downstairs then she came and we ordered pizza. She got up to get it but it turned out to be someone with a rock" Layla says. I nod my head and try to take it all in. I look at Perrie. Who would do this to the love of my life? My everything?

It had been 4 hours and Perrie hasn't moved an inch. The tears stream down my face. Perrie was my everything. The light to my darkness. She made me strong when i was at my weak point. She made me happy when i was sad. Everyday some how we should each other how much we loved each other.

I couldn't lose her. No one could. I look around the room and see them all in tears. Jade, Jesy and Leigh-anne came about an hour ago. We were still waiting for my princess to open her eyes. All i wanted to do was hold her tight and don't let her go.

Kiss her soft lips. Tell her how much i loved and needed her. How she was everything to me. How she made me happy. I looked at her and kissed her hand. I rested my hand on her bed and my head against it praying that should wake up and tell me three beautiful words.
