Chapter Twenty Eight

*ONE WEEK LATER*

**Riley’s POV**

I still haven’t managed to shake this sadness that I feel since the beach. I have been thinking about so many things lately- the past, present and the future. The other night I was watching my princes sleep when I started thinking about all the moments my family and Daniel has missed out on. I know I promised to come back although I didn’t think I’d go back with twins.  I was so naïve back then. I am scared but I think this is the right move and it’s the right time to go home. Its time to take my boys back home. Now that I have made my decision, its time to get things sorted; I have also decided that I will reach out to my family once we are in Melbourne.

*THREE DAYS LATER*

**Sally’s POV**

Riley has asked us over for breakfast today. I know something has been on her mind lately, even Bill has noticed. We got to her house and sat down for breakfast.

“Thank you for coming” Riley said

“Thanks for having us. This looks fantastic” I said

“So what’s going on?” Bill asked

“Well I have something I need to tell you” she said

“This sounds familiar” Bill said chuckling

“Bill” I said

“It actually does but its different” Riley replied giggling

“So anyway what have you got to tell us?” I asked

“Well I’ve been thinking a lot lately about everything especially the future and you both know I will never be able to thank you enough for everything you have done for the boys and I and that is why this is so difficult” she paused “It’s time for the boys and I to go back to Melbourne; my family need to meet the boys and be a part of their lives and mine” she finished.

Bill and I both sat silent for a minute.

“Well honey, I understand and I’ll help in anyway I can” I said

“Well, you will need a job, I have a mate in Melbourne who owns a tattoo shop, I could see if he needs another artist” Bill paused “I’m going to miss you kid but I think you’re doing what is right for you and your family.” He finished

“Oh wow, thank you both and Bill that would be great” Riley said

“So when are you thinking of going?” I asked

“As soon as everything is in place. I guess or I can work out my notice for you both” she replied

“Oh honey, you don’t need to work out any notice for the bar” I said

“Or at the shop” Bill added

“Thank you so much for everything” she finished
