Capitulo 8
*TOMS pov*
I can't believe they are making me carry her, the human. She doesn't even have a scent, so if we get separated, I won't be able to find her.
It's weird how she doesn't smell like anything. It's almost like if she is dead or something. But she's clearly not. Her heart beats. Micah spoke through our link. He actually likes her, while I on the other hand, don't.
Her little hands move rapidly in front of her face as she speaks to Ali for the last time. Ali quickly replies, and if Emilee could make a sound, she would definitely be groaning right now. She slowly turned to me and frowned as she looked at my wolf form. I let out a little growl, and I'm guessing she felt the vibrations since she jumped, and looked at Ali for help.
"Stop growling at her!" She snapped at me, making me go quiet. With a roll of my eyes, I crouched down, and didn't move as she slowly sat across my back. I could feel as she took handfuls of my furr, and it took some restrain to keep myself from growling in annoyance.
"Are you ready?" Paul called out to everyone, and we all nodded. "Alright, remember, we are in a packs territory, so we have to move fast. We can't let them know Emilee is with us, or she can be in danger."
I don't care....
With a small bark from me, I took a few steps forward, and then began to run.
Stupid human.....
*Delilahs pov*
"Have we even started on anything?" I groaned out, grabbing the list from the desk. The girls just shrugged, and looked at Ev, who just blushed and looked away.
"How am I supposed to know. I'm not allowed to see my 'surprise' birthday party, remember?"
Arie laughed. "Remind me why we let her into these meetings? I mean I love you sis, but this is a meeting for your birthday."
Everyone else laughed as she shrugged. "Ask mom. She dragged me in here."
"Well excuse me if I didn't want my daughter to be alone. She doesn't need to be plastered to Noah's side all the time. It's a miracle they haven't made me a grandma yet."
"MOM!" Both of my daughters yelled as all of us laughed. April and June gathered them up in a tight hug, while Mags, Rose and Quinn just watched from the sides.
"I can't wait for my kids to find their mates. I want a baby in my arms, but I don't want the responsibility that comes with it." April chuckled while June nodded.
"Exactly."
"Oh no. Not me. My baby is too young to have kids right now."
"She's 13, right Quinn?" Mags thought out loud.
Quinn nodded in confirmation and then looked at me. "Your babies are turning eighteen Delilah. How do you feel about that?"
"Old." More laughter was heard around the room, and I quickly got their attention. "Ok so back to the topic, we have nothing prepared? We haven't even gone to go buy all the supplies? You know exactly how much this pack eats in a party...."
They all groaned, while Eve and Arie just shrugged. "Hey. We called dibs on decorating, so the food is on all of you."
"Well then you may go. I guess you kids don't need to be in here for the adult conversations." I told them.
