TO THE MALL!

Serena POV

It's now been a week since Alex and Ash's Battle, and it's Friday! Thank Arceus!
It was after-school, and we all met outside by some Picnic Benches, (our usual hangout spot) we were deciding on what to do on he weekend.
"Mall?" Dawn suggested, and all the boys shook their heads, Dawn sighed
"Basketball Game?" Drew suggested, "Eh..." was our answer...
Suddenly, it came to me, "GUYS! Let's all go to the beach on Saturday!" Everyone's eyes lit up, "YEAH!" I smiled being the one who came up with the plan, "Alright how about 12:30 at my house, from there we'll walk or take the bus to the beach yeah?"
Everyone agreed, "Alright!" I was so excited for tomorrow, until I realized, my bathing suit doesn't fit me anymore....
I just realized I'm gonna have to ask Ash to come to the mall with me, since he's my best friend and Dawns my closest girl friend, but I'm not really that bonded with her yet.
"Hey Ash, can you come with me to buy a swimsuit at the mall? Please? I need advice...", I whispered, Ash soon realized what I just asked him, and started to blush..."Sure, a-a-anything f-for you Sere!"
"Alright, will you walk home with me? We can drop our School shit at my house, you okay with that?" He nodded, we said our good-byes to the group, and started walking to my house.
Ash had his goofy smile on his face, "Hey Sere... I forgot I need some swimming trunks too, my old ones are too small, they're from 2 summers ago...hehehe" He sweat dropped and I giggled, "Alright, we'll go to a swimwear shop then, I know this really good one that has really nice swim wear and it's affordable too!" He smiled at me...I loved his smile so much, He said something but I wasn't paying attention, just admiring my Child-hood Hero. "Sereeena? Hello??? You alright? Something bothering you? I can always help y-" I cut him off there, but smiled that he cared so much for me, "I'm fine Ashy, I was just thinking about someone..." I blushed.
He pouted, "Who is this someone?" He raised an eye-brow. I giggled at his jealousy, "That's for me to know and for you to find out!" He groaned "UUUGH I HATE SECRETS!" He said in a childlike manner.
I giggled at his actions, "You're such a little baby Ashy!" I giggled as he pouted, "Oh hey, we're here!"
I opened the door and saw my mom, "Hey mom!", she hasn't looked around to me yet because she was reading something. "Oh hey honey!" I made you lunch, it's in the kitchen-" Ash smirked and said, "Hello, Grace!" He said with his hands behind his back, rocking back and forth on his heels with a smirk on his face.
"ASH! Oh my! It's been so long! How have you been! I've heard a lot about you! All good things, all good things! Oh my, you've grown into such a-" I cut my mom off, knowing she would only embarrass me more.
"Alright mom! We get it! Anyways, our friends and us are going to the beach tomorrow so we're going shopping for swim wear! We'll be back later!" Grace looked disappointed, "Alright, alright, I guess, but HAVE FUN!" She grabbed me by the wrist gently while Ash headed to the door,"Not too much fun, Serena" I blushed and she started to giggle, "I'm kidding, hehe, TAKE CARE OF MY BABY ASH!" I blushed even more, "Mom!!!", Ash laughed, "I will Grace! Don't worry!" I ran out of the house, grabbing Ash's hand on the way out.
I let go of his hand and blushed, "Sorry, just that she embarrasses me a lot hehe" I felt so embarrassed... "Anyways, let's get going!"

Once we were in the shop, we went over to the men's section of the store to pick out something for Ash.
"What do you think about this Sere?" He showed me some orange trunks with yellow lining, "Oooh! Those look nice! But look at these!" I showed him some Blue trunks with white lining, and a Nice design around the waist line. He looked at them in awe, I giggled "Yes! I want those! They look so cool! I'm gonna buy them!" I started laughing at his silliness, "Alright, come on then, we still have to find one for me!" We went over to the women's section which was much larger then the men's. I had to ask a store employee for where my size swim suits were! "Excuse me, ma'am, can you tell me where the size small swim suits are?" The lady appeared to be in her 30's, had blond-orange hair, and green glasses. "Ooooh, what a cute couple your two are!", we both blushed "c-c-couple?" We said, embarrassed at what the lady said, "Um... W-w-we're just f-f-friends, I think..." Ash said while blushing.
"Well, young lady, the size Small bikini's are over there!" She pointed at the very end of the store, so I grabbed Ash by the hand and bolted over, not wanting any of his fan-girls to notice him.

After searching for the right size and nice looking bikini for about half an hour, I was about to give up, so I sat on a bench and sighed.
Ash noticed this, "Hey, don't give up 'till it's over!" I smiled at that old memory. "All right! Have you found anything?"
He nodded, "Yep! Look!" He showed me a really cute Pink bikini, it had beautiful lace over it, with ruffles at the top of the lower part and lace under it, while the bra part had the ruffled lace at the bottom of it.
I gasped and my eyes sparkled, "It's beautiful Ashy! I'm gonna go try it on, come on, you have to tell me how it looks!" I put it on and showed the cute bikini to Ash, he was frozen with his mouth wide open, I giggled at him and he said, "You're beautiful! Wait, I-I-I mean the Bikini is really nice-not that I mean you don't look beautiful-just that-" I laughed at his frustration with words. "I get it Ash, let me change and we'll go pay for our swimsuits."

As we were waking home, it started to get cold, since it was getting late, and Ash saw I was shivering, "Hey you look cold, want my jacket?" I shook my head, "N-no! You need that!" I just got closer to him, since he was warm.
He removed his jacket anyways and put it on me. Surprisingly, he hugged me as we walked, "You see, this way, neither of us will be cold!" I blushed and nodded, we soon arrived to my house so I gave Ash his jacket back, "Keep it for now, I'll take it back tomorrow when I come to your house for the beach, I live down the street, so don't worry about it!" I nodded and gave him a peck on the cheek, "Thank you Ash, I'll see you tomorrow!" He was blushing and holding his cheek as I closed my front door...
I can't wait for tomorrow!
