Serena POV

"ASH! NO!", I yell out, on the verge of tears, "WHY DID YOU DO THAT! Y-you dumbass..." I sniffled and held on to his shirt, burying my face into his chest. He was shot in the side, and was bleeding out.

He held my hand, "I told you I'll protect you...", I look him in the eyes, "I'll make that bastard pay for doing this to you."

The Bastard was about to run out after his last man ran out, I was not about to let him escape.

I quickly grab Ash's real gun and shoot, "AH YOU BITCH", shot him right in the thigh, perfect. I got up after he had tried to stand up again.

I stomp the heel of my foot onto his wound, he grunts, "Ha, now who's the fucking bitch?? Your pathetic ass can't run away now, can you?", I whisper menacingly, I wasn't about to  let him go unharmed after what he did.

"Serena! That's enough! Let's call the cops and ambulance, I think he's had enough!", Gary yells at me, sorta afraid?

I lift my foot and glare at the guy, "Fine, but I won't forget your face."

Later...

Ash POV

Welp, I awoke in a hospital bed and this time, Gary was next to me, sleeping on me like Serena does.

I poke his head a couple times, "Gary, watcha doing there buddy?"

He slowly wakes up, "A couple more minutes gramps... wait! ASH!", his head bops up and hugs me, "OH ASHY BOY I WAS SO WORRIED YOU ALMOST DIED YOU IDIOT! YOU'RE LUCKY YOU LIVED!" He already had boogers and was crying like those anime characters...

I looked around, no Clemont, no Serena..."Gary, where's everyone else?"

He wiped his nose, "Clemons had to go home and take care of Bonny since she's back for a bit, and Serena went to the bathroom....um, Ash, when you were unconscious, Serena kinda went Yandere on the guy who shot you."

I sweat drop, a little scared to ask what happened, but he explained anyways, "She was so scary dude, she shot the guy in the leg with one clean shot and then went and stepped on his wound and threatened him, I was so scared, but I had to ask her to stop, I was about to piss myself!"

Just as he finished, Serena barged in a little mad, "I heard that you brat."

"EEP!!", that's probably the first time I've ever heard Gary screech over fear from a girl other than Misty!

"Ash! I'm so glad you're okay, YOU'RE REALLY STUPID YOU ALMOST DIED FOR ME!" She wrapped her arms around my neck, careful not to touch my wound.

"I told you I'd protect you, forever." I kiss her forehead and smile at Gary, "You too, Gare Bear". His eyes sparkle, "AWE MY HEART!"

The Following Week...

Serena POV

It's been a week since Ash got hurt, he's still recovering but he's healthy enough to go to school, if visit him everyday before and after school. I'd even bring him a home cooked meal, I heard hospital food is nasty.

We were walking to school together with the gang and we saw a special someone...

"Oh no...it's them again." Dawn says.

Ash looks up at them, "What do you two want?"
