Ash POV

It's time.

It's finally time to show our strength.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous...

The mission starts tomorrow morning, and Serena is staying the night with me for safety reasons.

We're sleeping in the same bed. This always makes me nervous, gosh, I could FEEL how red my face is right now. My princess is laying on my chest, her breaths bring me comfort. She's so beautiful, even when she doesn't think so, there's not an ounce in my body that will ever think she's not beautiful.

If something happened to her, I wouldn't be able to live with myself. Maybe I'm too dangerous for her?...

No, we're happy together. I won't ever let anyone or thing harm her.

"Mm...Ash...please...stay" Serena mumbles, what is she dreaming about?? I'll always stay.

"Serena, I will never leave you. I love you, princess." I whisper in her ear, comforting her in her sleep.

I will protect her no matter what happens on the mission.

TIME SKIP TO MISSION

Gary POV

"Hey guys... we should make code names. For safety reasons, do we really want them to know our names?? We have masks on but that won't do much, we need code names." Clemont's right, Arceus, how does this guy always know everything??

"Clemont's right, let's make code names," I say, I want a cool name not soemthing lame, "Okay how about...Ash, you be Joker because of your mask. Clemont, you be Romeo cuz idk, reasons. Serena, how about bunny? And I can be Harambe."

"Hehe Joker seems cool."

"Romeo... I like it!"

"Aw, bunny? How cute, I'll take it!"

"Okay and I be Harambe, yeah??"

"No", hey all say in unison. Aw man.

Ash leans on my shoulder, "How about Falcon?"

FALCON SOUNDS SO COO- chill...

"Yeah! It sounds pretty bad ass for such a bad ass guy like me! Haha!"

They all sweat drop....aw c'mon

Serena POV

All right. It's finally time. Ash and I are inside the building on our way to infiltrate the akumas. Seems like they've targeted a lab? What are they planning to steal? Lab equipment? Chemicals? Gear?

"Ser-I mean Bunny...I want you to know, I won't let you get hurt. I don't care what it takes." Ash holds my hands together and kisses my forehead.

"Joker, please don't do something stupid. I don't want you getting hurt. I don't know what I'd do but just remember, I've got your back and you've got mine." I hug him and we both calm down.

"Alright, let's keep moving..." Ash then tells Clemont and Gary that we've managed to get inside and we have an opening for them. We wait a couple minutes for Gary and Clement to return, so I hold Ash's hand to keep me calm. This is all very nerve wrecking, don't you know??

"All right we're all here, let's go in...Joker, you be the leader, you've done it before." Gary puts on his hood as Ash leads the way.

??? POV

"Just a little longer and we'll have everything we need to carry out Part C of our plan.", I argue, trying to get the chief to wait a bit longer. If we leave now we might not get another chance!

"You're right, but I feel like something's wrong... we know all the things we have to take and how to carry out our plan but we don't have a back up...what if something happens??", he lays down his notebook and starts explaining his ideas, "Look, if we get out from exit x and y with the equipment, and have a couple stay back here to distract the bastards, we'll be able to get all the stuff to the boss safely. You know what'll happen if we don't." We all use our finger as a knife across our neck in unison. We know it'll happen if this fails.

"EVERYONE FREEZE OR I'LL DESTROY ALL THE EQUIPMENT."

Shit, they found us... chief was right, well, now it's time to fight.

As-I mean Joker POV

We got to their meeting room and decided... "We'll threaten to destroy their plan and while we're distracting them, Clemont will call Officer Jenny. All we have to do is distract them for about 15 minutes. Got that?", I say, trying not to shake from how nervous I am...can you blame me?...

Everyone nods and gets ready to infiltrate while Clemont started contacting the authorities. There's no signal in here so Clemont has to hack his way in.

"EVERYONE FREEZE OR I'LL DESTROY ALL THE EQUIPMENT!"

Everyone looks over to the three of us, but they didn't Freeze, of course...
Time to fight? Yeah.

"CMON GUYS GO GO!!"

Estrella gave us high tech guns that will paralyze someone for about 30 minutes, but they're not designed to kill, thankfully.

We all start shooting, hitting most our shots while they fire real bullets at us. Gosh, they have a really bad aim, nowhere close to hitting us. Is it part of a plan?

I see people trying to move the carts of equipment so I quickly shoot for them to stay still. I know their plan, how could they make it so predictable? Is it a trick or are they just that stupid??

"Y'all kids better leave before you get hurt.", the main guy warns, trying to make us leave.

I look at Gary, "Yeah alright let's go guys.", thankfully, they know my plan.

"Alright Joker, let's leave, I don't wanna get hurt.", Serena says, walking away.

We walk and I whisper NOW and we all turn and shoot. Most of the guys are paralyzed but we couldn't get the main guy.

He pulls out his gun, "Don't move or I shoot the bitch!", he pointed his gun to Serena and cocked it.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?! SAY IT AGAIN, I DARE Y-", I aimed my gun at him, about to shoot.
