I should just quit, Estrella thought, I should work at Walmart or something. She was dreading her job tonight while she was performing for these drunk men that eyed her like wild animals, they were cheering and whistling for her and you would think that it would make a woman feel wanted but it made Estrella feel a little gross. Thankfully her shift was about over but it couldn't end fast enough. The club was busy tonight and bouncers were on edge, the rules were that you couldn't touch a woman without her consent but most of the guests didn't respect that rule.
"Shake that ass, baby girl." called a man who was in his early twenties.

Estrella gladly ignored him and when the music stopped, she didn't hesitate to hurry backstage. Being backstage wasn't any better though, the girls were running around trying to get their stuff on before it was their turn to go on and she noticed that Jenna was nowhere in sight. Probably off making extra cash, she thought while pulling off her wig. She was more than ready to go home.

"Are you going home?" interrogated a woman named Jessica. She was twenty-seven years old, engaged to a man in a band that hasn't kicked off yet and already has a two years old son named Braydon. She was new here, started her first night yesterday. She was gorgeous though, long natural blonde hair, baby blue eyes and milky skin and her curves were to die for. You could say that Estrella envied her.

"Yes I am," Estrella replied, pulling her shirt over her head. "but I'll be back tomorrow at eight."
Jessica smiled, nodding her head. She didn't have a lot of friends here yet, but Estrella was one of them.

"Good, because I don't want to be here all alone!"

Estrella laughed while wiggling her butt into her skinny jeans. "Don't worry, I'll be back. Promise," she grasped her purse and her coat. "bye girls!"

The weather outside was miserable. The wind was blowing at 20MPH, rain fell from the black sky and the temperature felt like 30 degrees. She ran to her car and hopped inside without hesitating, just so she didn't get wet. She started the ignition and immediately turned on the heater, trying to get warmed up before driving away. She knew that she would need to stop at the grocery store and pick up toilet paper and shampoo before making her way home and she knew the perfect place. There was a little grocery store two miles from here, it wasn't a Walmart but it was good enough for her and cheap as well. She drove to the store while singing along to some familiar songs on the radio. The grocery store was pretty much empty, only two employees worked the checkout lines and four other employees restock the shelves in silence. It took her a minute or two to find the toilet paper, but when she did she grasped the package of four rolls too fleetingly and knocked two others off the shelf. She tried her best to catch them but before they could fall to the hard floor, time around her slowed down. The puzzled look on her face was completely visible, she was actually too frightened to move or touch the toilet paper, until a very bright golden light began shining behind her and caused her shadow to appear on the wall. She swallowed hard then turned around, using her hand to protect her eyes. The golden light was brighter than the sun and it hurt a lot worse than looking directly at the sun, she thought that her eyeballs would melt if she put her hand down.

"Who's there?" she interrogated. No one answered but she could tell that something was moving inside the light. "I can't see you because of that light!"

The light began to fade away, revealing a tall, muscular man standing five feet away from her. The light had disappeared inside of him and something told her that this wasn't something Lucifer can do, light didn't follow him but darkness did, and this man looked nothing like Lucifer did. He was tall, muscular and had short blonde hair that fell into his bright blue eyes. He wore armor like clothing, but Estrella wasn't completely sure if that was what he was wearing.
