Abaddon stared into Lucifer's black eyes silently, thinking about his words before saying them.
"I know you can't and I know you won't, just admit it Lucifer. You care about her and you can't hurt her, even if you want to."
Lucifer slung Abaddon to the floor and he slid, hitting his head against the stone wall. Lucifer pointed his index finger at him in warning, as he tried to stay conscious.
"You stay here and don't you dare think about following me." he snarled.
Abaddon's eyelids fell heavy but he watched Lucifer's tall silhouette walk away.
"You won't hurt her Lucifer; I know you won't!"
But Lucifer ignored him. He didn't care if he harmed her or not, he was so angry right now all he saw was red and felt his blood boiling. He felt betrayed, which was weird for him to feel betrayed by a human. But he guessed there was a first for everything. He reached the door of the corridor and spoke in Latin to open the portal to earth, the door turned into a melting mess and then divided to let him through. He immediately appeared in Estrella's living room and he looked left and right to find her. The lights were off though and it was very silent, only the sound of raindrops hitting the roof echoed throughout the house. Then thunder boomed throughout the sky and lightning flashed from the windows. He wasn't going to go search places of where she could be, so he made his way down the hallway to search through her bedroom. His footsteps were silent against the carpet and he was able to crept up to the partly shut door without making a noise. He used his finger to push the door open wider and even though the room was completely dark, he could hear her peaceful breath. The lightning cracked the sky again, illuminating her silhouette lying under the bed sheets. Lucifer approached the side of her bed, staring at her with wrath. I could kill her now, he thought, I could end this all right now. He could suffocate her with a pillow, like he's tried to do a hundred of times but couldn't bring himself to cover her face. She was asleep on her back, staring up at him with her eyelids shut peacefully. She didn't know that the devil was hovering over her, debating if he should end her life right now or not. He wanted to, he so desperately wanted to kill her right now. He was pondering, his hand had gripped the wooden headboard, his other hand was beside her head pushing down the mattress and he was just staring at her, letting her breath hit his breath as she inhaled. Kill her Lucifer, he kept telling himself. His right hand gripped the pillow that no one laid on and he lifted it up, biting his bottom lip, trying to fight the urge to put it back down. He felt sweat appear on his forehead and he couldn't handle this anymore. He dropped the pillow and bowed his head in disappointment. Why do I feel like this? he wondered, why does she make me feel like this? Lucifer never thought that a day would come where he couldn't be his ruthless self, he loved torturing people and making their lives miserable but all he wanted to see from this human was a smile on her face. He wanted to protect her from every element in the world. He wanted her to be his, but he knew that she couldn't be with an angel around her and he knew that if she didn't accept this, she would always try to be with someone else besides him and Lucifer couldn't bear the thought. Maybe if she got to know me? He wanted to slap himself, that would give her another reason to never accept him if she gotten to know him. He was insane for thinking that would change everything. She stirred and turned, causing him to tense up and hold his breath. She turned onto her side and began wrapping her arms around his, snuggling up against it. He watched, speechlessly, but he was tensed and unsure if this was even real. He felt her heat around him and for once, he enjoyed it. She was a lot warmer than he was. But when he realized how much he was enjoying this and that he was forgetting why he came here in the first place, he pulled his arm away.
"Estrella, wake up," he demanded but she barely moved. "Estrella!" he shook her and her eyes opened quickly, turning over onto her back. At first she was confused, thinking that she had just woken up thinking that someone was calling her name but when the lightning illuminated the room and she saw Lucifer's face inches from hers she gasped.
