Estrella was terrified to leave but while the nurses prepared her discharge from the hospital, Abaddon kept repeating that she will be safe because the demons and hellhounds will follow. They insisted that they wheeled her to Stephanie's vehicle in a wheelchair and even though Estrella claimed she could walk, they made her sit and enjoy the ride. The nurse named Mary pushed her out of the room and that's when Estrella finally saw the demons that's been here guarding her. They were hideous! Two males walked in front of her and they were inhumanly tall, perhaps seven or eight feet. They were shirtless and sweaty, only wearing black baggy pants. With every step they took the ground shook, even she was surprised no one else felt the vibrations rather they saw them or not. Their skin was the color of ash and they had long silky hair, shark-like teeth, and razor-blade black nails and a scar on their forehead that glowed the color of lava; as she looked closer she realized it was a pentagram. The hellhounds that followed them were worse looking than Cerberus and they were on a chain-like leash, which made Estrella feel uneasy because clearly they didn't trust them enough to run freely so why should she trust them?
"Ah, I can't wait to get out of here." Stephanie complained.
"Oh yeah, because you've been in here for days."
"Don't be hateful," she snarled. "I'm helping you out, be thankful."
Abaddon has never met this woman but he already disliked her, she seemed stuck-up and bitchy. But he kept silent as he walked beside Estrella to the outside. It was very cold and windy, but they got Estrella in the front seat easily and Abaddon climbed into the back before telling the demons to travel to her house and make sure it was safe before they arrived.
"Okay so," Stephanie began again and slammed her door shut, causing Estrella to jump. "should we get something to eat or go shopping? I saw your clothes and they're absolutely pitiful, you look homeless!"
"Neither, I just want to go home."
"Okay, do you have PMS?" she laughed and started the ignition.
"No!" Estrella exclaimed, her head already throbbing. "just take me home in silence. Please."
It took everything in Stephanie to stay silent but she managed to. She didn't understand why Estrella despised her, she has never done anything to that girl and even when she did good things for her it still wasn't good enough! Estrella arrived home in under three hours to find everything ordinary, except the demons and hellhounds in her yard.
"There will be more demons when Lucifer returns, most of them left with him." Abaddon told her and she nodded.
She helped herself out of the car which Stephanie waited impatiently to get inside out of the cold instead of helping Estrella, and since she was still sore it did take a little while, even refusing to use Abaddon as support just so she could prove she can do this alone.
"I'm surprised you still live in this house."
Estrella took offensive to that and while she limped to the geothermal she decided.
"Will you just go? I don't need your help, I'm perfectly capable taking care of myself."
Stephanie stuck her hands on her hips.
"Really, after what I just did for you?
"Yes, just please go Steph."
She hesitated at first, grinding her teeth together to stop herself from saying something rude.
"Fine, goodbye Estrella. Don't call me!"
She watched her aunt storm out of the house, then heard Abaddon clear his throat awkwardly. That was intense, even for him.
