I simply stare at Jae mindlessly.

"Your answer?" She asks and I continue to stare at her. "I dunno why you asking that outta the blue..." I laugh nervously.

I then looked at her hand on my wrist.

"You really don't know?" She asked and I looked back up at her. "Jae... I-I don't... uh... I have no intention of dating yet..."

"Oh..." she said slowly as she let go of my wrist but I grabbed her hand.

Figuring out what I just did I let go and said, "I-It's not that... I don't like you. It's just that-" "-Then let's date." She smiled.

I stared at her.

"But-" "-I think it'll work out." Jae chuckled and I looked everywhere else.

"Let's try?"

I then slowly nod.

Jae prods for a clear reply and I shake out of my minor state of shock.

"Uh..." I mumbled while looking down, "Just give me some time to think."

A smile then spread across her face.

"Okay."

I looked at her a little longer as she said, "Now I'm happy."

I glanced at my door preparing to run and she smiled, "Goodnight."

I looked back at her.

"Night..."

I then literally tripped on my ass in a haste to get inside. I slammed my door shut and immediately locked it.

I backed away from my door in disbelief.

I grab a fistful of my hair before turning around and staring at nothing.

"No way..." I mumble glaring at the hand that grabbed hers. "Why'd I do that?!"

I quickly retreat to my bed and stuffed my face into my pillow, screaming, "Argh! This is crazy! This makes no sense!"

"This is impossible. I must be on some shit. I don't believe this." I rant while pulling off my clothes. "This is crazy!"

"Why me?! Me? Why would she want to date me? Why?! Out of all people! The one that doesn't even like other studs!"

"Why not June? Or... Yesenia! But me? Why? Because she actually likes me!? Argh! That's bullshit!"
