Jenae
Tyliah was mopping around when I walked into the hallways of the university.
She stopped for a second when she saw a message she got on her phone.
She looked irritated before shoving her phone back inside her pocket.
She continued mopping and that was when I made my way to the fountain.
My gaze fixated on my study guide.
Her mopping quickly made it's way near me as she asked, "What kinda girl goes around studying while walking?"
I looked at her as I drunk some water.
"And studying while drinking water? How does that even work out?"
I stopped drinking as she stopped mopping. We made eye contact.
"I thought you said you wanted us to pretend not to know each other."
She scoffed before adverting her gaze, "Do you know me?" She dipped the mop into a bucket before aiming it at my foot, "I need to clean. So can you move?"
She began to practically mop my feet and I jumped back, "Wait! Holdup! Let me–"
My study guide fell and it landed right into a puddle of water.
We both stared at it for a minute.
Then Tyliah reached to retrieve it but instead I snatched it from the floor.
It was soaked and I glared up at her.
"Well... I didn't do that on purpose."
I continued to stare at her in silence.
She winced and reached for it, "Let me see. Is it very wet?" But I yanked away from her before storming away.
"Puppy-Dog!" She yelled, "Are you mad?"
She quickly ran after me, "It's not cute! Alright?"
