I lost my appetite just as quick as I got it.
I rolled up my bag of chips and put it back in my bag of purchased snacks.
"Jae?" I asked while looking up at her. "Jae... got you jumped?"
"Yeah. She ain't all she seems like. Be careful." Tyliah said with such sincerity. "I'm not gone help you later if you get betrayed by her and come crying to me."
We walked home together afterwards. Only because we go the same way.
"Puppy dog..." Ty called me and I kept on walking ahead of her. "Don't think you're saved. You still owe me."
I rolled my eyes and kept walking.
"I heard you got a new job." Ty mumbled and I laughed this time, "You a stalker."
"I'm not!" She debates before looking on ahead of us. "Is it hard?-" "-Really fucking hard." I answered honestly. "When I get my job done I still end up getting in trouble or yelled at by my manager."
"You just sit there and take it?" Ty asked.
I glanced over at her with my hands in my pockets and she laughed, "Yeah... I bet you always say "I'm fine" or "It's all good" when it's the opposite. Keep living like that and you'll always be pushed around. You'll see. I'm always right." Ty grinned.
I scoffed and kept walking.
"Buy me McDonald's," she said while pointing at the fast food restaurant. "Get me uh... sausage biscuit and hotcakes."
I let out a groan.
"You and food! You stress me out the most! Like a damn parasite latched onto me! I don't owe you shit! Alright?" I snap, "You getting a little too damn cocky."
Tyliah then laughed at me.
"Yeah... that's what I'm talking about. Keep standing up for yourself dumbass."
Then she ruffled up the front of my hair, "Goodnight... puppy dog."
I fixed my hair as she walked away, "Goodnight..." I mumbled more to myself.
When I got home I went straight to bed. Throwing my bag of snacks by my mini fridge. I collapsed against my pillow.
I'm so full...
My thoughts began to drift off to Tyliah.
"She doesn't seem like a bad person." But what happened between her and Jae?
