"Fine." I agreed in frustrated manner. I walked up to him until he was close enough to me for me to hear him breathe without even trying. "May I?" he offered gesturing to my shoulder. I nodded "Just be careful." I told him with a penetrating glare. He nodded solemnly and pulled the neckline of my t-shirt down to my shoulder. The gash was now a scar, but it was still big enough to see. "When did this happen? In the woods?" okay now he was getting mad. "Logan I just didn't want you guys to think I was weak-" "You think we would think you're weak just because you are hurt?!" Logan shouted at me. I looked up at him, it did make sense. I now heard that the kids in the other room had paused the TV and were listening to the conversation. "Logan...I'm fine now, I heal up faster than any normal mutant. You don't tell anyone you got shot because it's already healed, do you?!" I shouted back at him. He held his glare down at me. "No... but you heal slower than me so it's different...just don't try and be a hero next time." Logan took the beer can out of my hand and walked out of the kitchen. I didn't even give a second thought about the beer...I was speechless and then the game in the other room was unpaused and the house resumed in its usual noises.

The next morning, I went to my usual classes and the day ended with me going to Mr. McCoy's class. Science. One of my favourites. I walked into the class and sat down next to Kurt, he wasn't bothering with his disguise today. "Hey Hazel. I heard you guys got to recruit a girl over the weekend and it was your first mission." Kurt greeted me as I sat down next to him. "Yeah, it was fun and I got a big ass scar to prove it." I gestured to my shoulder. "Can I see?" Kurt asked. "Yeah, I don't see why not." I pulled the neckline down like Logan did the previous night and showed Kurt the scar, not really caring if he could see my black bra strap. "Wow, she must be pretty powerful. Ya?" Kurt asked me. "Ya." I mimicked his accent and we both started laughing uncontrollably. "Alright class! Today we are gonna be using the Bunsen burners and if you have any type of fur at all, like myself, make sure you do not burn it. I'm looking at you Kurt." Mr. McCoy pointed out. "What?" Kurt said in an offended manner, he was famously known for his hilarious antics in Science that usually led to an accident. I started laughing uncontrollably again. "You too Miss. Wolfe." Okay, what?! "Huh?!" I said out loud. "Don't change into wolf form unless absolutely necessary." he advised me. "Yes, sir." I agreed with his terms.

We started by burning some minerals and I was really getting interested in the lesson when all of a sudden Logan knocked on the door. "I'll be back in a moment class, now please, don't burn anything down." Mr. McCoy exited the room and I'm pretty sure all hell broke loose. Kurt started burning a piece of paper that had undecipherable words scrawled all over it. "Kurt! Mr. McCoy said not to- ""Hazel, Mr. Howlett would like to speak to you." Mr. McCoy said, half of his body in the room, the other half still outside the room. I felt the whole rooms gaze fall on me, they must've thought I got into another fight with Lo-I mean, Mr. Howlett. I made my way outside, Mr. McCoy slipped back into the classroom. "What's up?" I asked Logan, I don't know what happened but something has changed between us, no idea what though. "Eloise doesn't want to talk to anyone except you." Logan told me straight up. "Come again?" I asked him. "Eloise, the girl we found the other day, hasn't spoken to any of the teachers and the only thing she said was that she wants to speak to you and you only." Logan explained in more depth. "Okay, I'll go talk to her. Where is she?"

We walked into the lower levels of the school until we came across the training room. I opened the door to have a bolt of electricity being shot towards me. But something heavy came into contact with me before it could reach me. "Shit." I mumbled since the floor had hit my head, a really bad headache was now throbbing throughout my whole head. "You okay?" Logan asked. He was propped on top of me, I couldn't help blushing a little bit. "Um, Logan you can get off of me now." I told him. "Oh, yeah, sorry." He apologised and got up and off of me. Then he offered me his hand, I took it and he helped me up. I couldn't help but notice the rip on the back of his T-shirt and the gash that healed up before I could say anything about it. "Eloise?" I called out. She was sitting in the corner of the room, curled up into a ball. When I got closer to her I felt my hair go up with the static electricity, good thing I was still wearing goggles. "Hazel." She looked up and she couldn't help but giggle. "I know hahaha." I mock laughed. "No...look at Logan." Her whole body shook with laughter. I looked behind me to see that Logan's usual bat eared hairstyle was sticking up every which way. I burst out laughing at the sight. "What?" He was completely oblivious. I took my phone out and took a picture. Logan reached up and felt his hair. "Okay bub, if that's how you want to play." He then started to chase me around the training room all the while Eloise was giggling in the corner.
