Mira Wren Bridger-The Final Chapter

Chapter 1

Mira and Zak have been happily married for 8 years.

They have twins-Astrid and Alex, both of them 6 years old.

They were sweet kids, but very hyper and crazy (I mean they were force sensitive)

Mira had realized that they had inherited all of Ezras' traits.

Fun!

Life would've seemingly been perfect.

No Empire.

Two beautiful children.

Loving parents.

But there was a slight problem.

Ezra and Sabine were growing older.

With all their past injuries...they weren't doing well....

Recently a medic droid had told them some...troubling news.

Force healing was.....

Sometimes a temporary thing.

Zak seemed to be showing no signs of it failing, so the droid ruled him to be in the clear.

Sabine and Ezra, weren't as lucky.

To put it simply...

They were dying. They only had weeks left to live. Maybe days.

Mira sobbed into her parents arms. She was only 29. She wasn't ready to lose her parents. Zak tried to comfort her as best he could.

Sabine smiled sadly as she brushed the hair out of her daughters face.

"When we're gone you've got to promise me you'll take care of the Ghost alright?" She asked her daughter.

Mira nodded sadly with tears in her eyes.

"And Zak...." Ezra started.

Zak gulped, still kinda scared of Ezra.

"Take care of Mira alright? I'm counting on you." He said, smiling slightly.

Zak breathed a sigh of relief and nodded.

Suddenly the twins ran in.

Astrid noticed her mother seemed sad.

Alex noticed the tears being held back in his grandparents' eyes.

"Mum? What's wrong?" Astrid asked, sweetly.

Mira wrapped her arms around her daughter and cried softly.

Alex walked over to his grandparents and asked the same question.

He was also pulled into their warm embrace.

Mira and Zak glanced at eachother sadly.

All they had wanted was a normal life for their children.

They had a sinking feeling that they weren't going to get it.

Told ya sabezra was in jeopardy.
