Chapter Fourteen: Brody
Oh yay. 'the talk' from my true love's brother. Horary! Note the sarcasm. Once Maple was gone, Delbert looked at me.
"Dude! The look on your face!" he laughed. "I'm not having the talk with you. Ever. But, I will say one thing, if you ever hurt my sister, lets just say you wont know happiness. Most people would just kill you. Not me. I would make it slow and painful. Okay?" he asked. I nodded.
"I will never EVER try to hurt her. I already care about her too much."
"Good. Now, the reason I want to talk to you. Its not bad. I want you to take my sister on the perfect date." He said.
"Ok. How do I do that? You know her better than me. Does she like fancy dinners? Live action movies? Animated movies? What's her favorite...everything?" I asked.
"She hates anything that fancy. Live action and animated. I'll tell you her favorite everything later. So, her perfect date," he went into a detailed description about everything that would be perfect for her on a date. He went to get everything to make it perfect, while I wandered around and found the perfect spot.
I found a small clearing where there was a waterfall, a small stream, and it was surrounded by trees, on the edge of a cliff. It was beautiful, quiet, and cliché. Perfect for Maple. I walked back to the mansion and found Delbert. I showed him to where there was a perfect everything, and he helped me set everything up.

"Maple, will you go on a date with me?" I asked. She stared at me like I was crazy. Then she laughed.

"Maple, will you go on a date with me?" Brody asked. I just stared at him. Was he crazy? I laughed. He was my true love! He didn't need to ask! He needed to say "Hey, you're going on a date with me!"
"You're my true love! Are you stupid?" I asked. "Yes. You don't need to ask. You could just say, Hey, lets go on a date!" I told him. He smiled.
"Are you free right now?"
"Yeah, I guess. I mean I have to get my stuff to my room, but I guess I can do that later." I said. "Why?" he walked behind me, and put a blindfold over my eyes. "Are you crazy? I cant see!" I shouted.
"I know. It's a surprise though." He said, laughing.
"You and Delbert planned this whole thing. Didn't you?"
"Ha ha. Yes."
"I hate you all." I said, jokingly.
"I am hurt." He responded, sarcastically. He took my hand and led me through what I assume was the forest, until he finally stopped and walked behind me. But I wasn't focusing on anything. I had to ask if he had ever hunted. And if it was true that Derek and Brooke were his parents. But when is the right time for that?
He took the blindfold off and walked around me to see my reaction. It was beautiful. We were on the edge of a cliff, surrounded by trees. There was a waterfall and there was a small stream, with rocks that made a small waterfall. He had but a picnic blanket and basket on the ground, and Christmas lights on the trees.
"This...is the most beautiful thing ever. Well, cliché, but beautiful." I smiled. He grinned at me.
"Delbert helped me plan the whole thing. He told me everything you like. Bu, he didn't tell me about who you are. All he told me was that you like pizza and snow cones. So, that's dinner, on the edge of a cliff!"
