Picture this.

Stranger Things was in it's fourth season of filming and it was still a major hit. The show was nominated for several awards at the Golden Globes this year.
The show was nominated for several awards such as best drama.
But one of the most exciting awards was the one that Gaten was nominated for. Best male supporting role.

The kids had all gotten ready together and were now sitting down at their designated table. Gaten's leg bounced up and down from being so anxious. He couldn't wait.
He sat thinking about what he would say if he just so happened to win the award.

Would I thank my family first?

Who else should I thank?

"Hey Gaten, you're gonna do great." Caleb smiled at Gaten. The two were best friends ever since the first season. They always had each other's backs. Caleb was so proud of Gaten when the nominees were posted.

"Thanks." Gaten bit his lip as he looked down at his leg that continued to bounce up and down quickly.

As the night went on, everyone ate and had a good time. But at this point the award was approaching so fast to the point where Gaten was shaking with anticipation. The cameras were now focused on two young girl actresses that Gaten wasn't quite familiar with.

"Our next category is best supporting role." The bleach blond in a sapphire blue dress smiled brightly.

"Here are the nominees for best male supporting role." The brunette in a black dress started listing off the nominees. As Gaten's name was said he felt pats on the back from everyone around him.
He looked around at the table of his cast mates who were smiling wide. "The winner is. . . Gaten Matarazzo from Stranger Things."

Gaten couldn't believe it.

Caleb grabbed his best friend by the arm and was going in for a hug when he was pushed from behind and his lips pressed up against Gaten's. Both of the boys' eyes went wide as they pulled away.

"Um," Caleb coughed in embarrassment. Gaten's cheeks flushed red as he smiled also embarrassed. They pulled each other in for a hug before Gaten went up and accepted his award and made sure to give Caleb a special shout out mentioning how close they are.

Let's just say from that day forward, the internet wouldn't let the two boys live that night down.
