I sat on my bed with my guitar strumming chords as my boyfriend of five months sat in front of me on a lounge chair in the corner of my room. He sat and looked at me attentively as I plucked at the strings. He smiled softly as he watched my fingers travel up and down the fretboard making the octaves go up and down.

"What?" I asked while giggling lightly at my boyfriend who looked like he was in some sort of trance.

"Did I ever tell you how much I love watching you play the guitar?"

"Oh please that was barely considered playing, that was more like boredom." I chuckled.

"Well, it was beautiful." Mike smiled making me playfully roll my eyes.

"You my friend are the sappiest person I know." I laughed again.

The room went quiet for a couple minutes before Mike spoke up again. "Play me something."

"What?" I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. Mike had occasionally walked in on me playing but never had he asked me to play him anything for him.

"Play me something on your guitar."

"Mike, I- I don't know." I stuttered out, tucking my soft hair behind my ear nervously.

"C'mon Nicole, I know you're amazing at playing the guitar. Please? For me?"

I sighed and let out a shaky breath before beginning playing my favorite song. I strummed a pattern while my fingers danced across the fret board creating a beautiful melody. I began singing 'A Case of You' by Joni Mitchel. My words were quiet because as much as I do enjoy singing, I felt embarrassed and some what nervous to be singing this to him.
The world melted off my lips as I began to gain more confidence in my playing and before I knew it I was finishing the song and Mike sat there with the biggest smile I have ever seen on that kid.

"Beautiful, absolutely beautiful." Mike whispered causing my already red cheeks to turn a deep shade of crimson. "You know you should sing more often, you have the most amazing voice."

"Oh mike, stop showering me with compliments," I put down my guitar and smacked his leg playfully.

"Hey, its only the truth my love." He purred.

I leaned in and pressed my lips against his, they were warm and soft like always, I loved this kid with all my heart and no one could ever change that, sure he was sappy but he was also cute, kind and caring.
"You're too nice to me." I pulled away.

"I love you." He smiled before pressing his lips to mine once more. "And nothing will ever change the way I feel for you."

Oh man this imagine was late, and I'm am so deeply sorry.
I really hope you enjoyed this.
It's not fully edited yet I just really wanted this to come out as fast as I could.
Quick note, there will be no imagines coming out tomorrow or Wednesday because I'm at camp, I get my braces off and my dad comes home from being in Nepal, so I'll try to write another one today and one for Thursday or Wednesday night.
