Science went quick. I haven't seen Andrew since Math. I slowly make my way to the bus. When I reach it to see that Andrew isn't there. I sit down in my seat and put in my headphones blaring Blood by In This Moment when I feel a slight thud in the seat beside me. "Hey." I say knowing automatically who it is.
"Hey!" he smiles. "Want to hang out at the park? Its quiet and a great place to hang. No one is ever there."
"Sure." I turn down my music so I'm able to hear him better.
"Good song by the way."
"I know." I laugh. We discussed music the whole bus ride. I've grown quite comfortable with him already. He seems to keep getting more cute by the minute. Finally its our stop we get off and he leads the way to the park since I'm not sure where it is. He grabs my arm and pulls me towards the swings and I instinctively wince in pain.
"What was that?" He mumbles.
"Cats. He attacked me." I lied.
"May I see?"
"No." I say. "So ... What do you want to talk about?"
"Tell me about yourself?" he asks.
"My names Angel, obviously. I'm 15 turning 16 in a few months."
"Cool." he laughs. "You know if you need to talk about stuff you can talk to me about them. I may know more than you think."
"Okay." I mutter. What is he talking about ... Does he know? We hung out for an hour or two with no more questions about my arm before I have to go home and he walks me to my house. The walk was awkward but short.
"Um ... Wanna do this everyday?" He asks
playing with the sleeves on his hoodie, hope flowing through his brown eyes.
"Sure" I smile and walked in the the house. How could anything get any better? How do I already like this boy?
