~two weeks later~

"Want to hang at the park tonight?" Andrew asks, I can tell he's worried about me, I don't know why.

"Yeah sure." I mumble, yeah, sure I've been pretty down since Andrew's ex Olivia and her troop of popular friends has been bullying me. I guess maybe that's a reason to worry, I don't know. He's been really sweet and everything, not that I'm complaining. Doesn't he see all my flaws? I honestly lost track of whatever good in me that I had left, These two weeks have been emotionally exhausting.

"Cool." He winks and squeezes my hand that's fingers are entwined with his. The feeling of his fingers locked in mine is honestly the best feeling I have ever experienced. The bus halts to a stop and we both rise, get our backpacks placed on our backs, and we make our way off the bus.

"Loser!" some douche bag in the back with a DC snap-back hat throws a wad of paper at us. Andrew just sighs and pulls me along.

"Hun, don't listen to them." He murmurs in my ear while the bus pulls away carrying the boy with it. What the hell did I do to them? My blood boils and my heart in a knot I don't try to stand out I hide, and duck away from human contact, what do they have against me? I muster up the best wavering smile I could force, at least it seemed to make him feel better. You know that feeling in your throat where you can feel yourself wanting to cry, but you just swallow and hope for the best? Yeah? Well this feels ten times worse. We just make it to the park and I collapsed on the ground in sobs. "Angel?" Andrews voice also wearing thin in sadness. "It'll be okay.." he whispers dropping down beside me and wrapping his strong arms around my feeble body, shaking from the sobs being violently forced out.

"Will it?" I sob again my chest caving in, and arms burning.

"yes." His eye's water. "I need you to be strong. Please ... for me.." he whispers shakily in my ear I can just feel his brown eyes shimmer. "Things don't get better you do" he quote a guy whom I can't remember his name. We stay there like this for several minutes. Finally, I dry my eyes and look up at the sky to be greeted by a raindrops. After about what seems like an eternity, the rain turns into a full out down poor. He laughs mischievously and runs through the rain. "Bet you can't catch me!" he yells mimicking a little kid. Giggling I run after him. It felt good. After our clothes were soaked, we decided to hang out at his house and dry off. When I was pretty much dry I went home smiling to myself.
