Angel

chapter 19

"I'm not going to leave, hun." I sigh. "Do you want a ride home? It's getting late and I can't take this place."

"Yeah." He sighs and I reach my ou hand for help , once i'm up he pulls me into a hug. "I love you."

"Love you more." I manage a half a smile while my heart lazly lets the other side droop into the frown. Before We head out his thumb drifts across my frown tracing my jaw line. His eyes felt as if they were searching for something in mine... But what?....

~Andrew's pov~

She drove me home, personally I'm terrified of motorcycles. I'm not one for speed. I honestly Don't want to leave her alone tonight. She's so sad, but she doesn't know how to react to this. I kiss her good bye. Her emotions seem scattered like the leaves in Autumn. Casually blowing in the wind, pretending to be okay but in reality they're dead or dying. I push through my door, it feels like its been thousands of years since I've been here, but I had only been here not too long ago.

Hours pass of me just sitting waisting time. My phone hasn't gone off once. "Hun? You okay?" I text curiously after what seemed like an eternity of letting my mind wonder for the worst. I sit there and wait ,my phone doesn't go off. Ugh, what is taking her so long. I slide on my green converse tennis shoes and push myself out into the damp night air. I turn on my ipod and the first song that plays is "Drops Of Jupiter by Train".

"She acts like summer and walks like rain. Reminds me that there's a time to change, hey, hey, hey" Plays gracefully through my headphones. I finally make it to her door step, is it stupid for me to be bugging her? I sigh in the silent night air when something hits me. Why isn't there any lights on? I open the naturally unlocked door and walk up to the steps turning on the light that lights the staircase, which is basically black without it. I knock on her door quietly rapping. No answer.. I poke my head in and she lay in her bed. Thank god, I sigh releef flooding my heart. I sit at the edge of the bed. Her quiet breaths make me smile, she's so beautiful. Everything about her. I honestly can't think of a way to discribe the feeling that she gives me, it's a rush of happyness.  I kick my shoes off and crawl in bed beside her.

"hey." she whispers in a dazed voice, with a slight smile shown from the light of a nightlight.

"Hey." I cuddle closer to her and kiss her cheek. She doesn't reply, her eyes have closed and she's once again asleep before I know it. I toss and turn slightly trying not to disturb my sleeping Angel. Finally I feel my eyes droop and shortly after close.
