I woke up with a splitting headache inside a dark room, sitting in a chair. I tried to touch my temple where that psychopath hit me, but I can't move my arms. Squinting in the dark, I could just make out the outline of... rope? I wasn't sitting in a chair, I was tied to it! The rope went around my midsection like twenty times, and my hands were wrapped together! What the heck was going on here? My eyes widened when I realized I was gagged, too.

"...she just showed up in my room, Maio, how do you think she got here? How could she have?!" It was her, that crazy Cosplay elf girl! She sounded close, but a little bit muffled, like she was standing behind a door. She sounded worried, nothing at all like the crazy serious girl who almost cut off my head.

"I don't know. You're sure you saw what you saw?" A new voice, a guy's, answered the girl's. His voice sounded deep, but also young, like a teenager's.

"No, that's why I brought you, idiot," said the girl exasperately. "She looked so real, she almost convinced me she was human." Wait, what? Almost convinced her I was human?!

"Where'd you put her?"

"In my closet." She paused. "Stop looking at me like I'm crazy, her blood was red, Maio, I'm not kidding!"

I heard footsteps, and then the lock of a door clicking. Light bursted in right in front of me, they'd opened the door. I could see the silouettes of two people, one significantly shorter than the other. The taller one leaned over and switched on a light. I squeezed my eyes closed for a second, all the lights were starting to give me a headache.

When I opened them, I was staring into the dark green eyes of the most gorgeous boy I had ever seen. He was right in front of me, leaning with his hands on his knees so that he was at my eye level. He looked just a little older than me, maybe seventeen. He had slightly wavy dark brown hair, just long enough that it stopped right above his eyes. On his belt he had what looked like a dagger. He was wearing clothes simular to the pscho girl, only these were fitted to his more stockier body. He also had the same hispanic complexion.

"Blue eyes, blonde hair. Nothing special." He said, almost distractedly, looking backwards, then back at me. Craining my head, I could see the girl leaning against the now closed door. He moved some of my hair behind one of my ears and I shifted my attention back to him.He tilted his head to see better; while he looked at my ears, I could see the pointed tips of his sticking just out of his hair.

" Why'd you gag her?" He asked suddenly, standing up and walking back to the girl. he must have been a good ten inches taller than her."If you really thought she was human-"

"Better safe than sorry," retorted the girl. She glared at me."Even if she isn't, how is it that her blood is red?"

"We're not going to find that out if she can't speak," he said, giving her a stern look.

She narrowed her eyes. "Fine."

Fast as a viper, she lashed out a hand, drew the guy's dagger, and smartly walked up to me. I cringed as she swung the dagger upwards, neatly cutting the gag in two. She didn't even scrape me. Still moving, she continued to swing the dagger, letting go as her arm straightened out, throwing the knife backwards. It was heading straight at the guy, spinning. Then, just as fast as she was, the boy plucked the dagger out of thin air and sheathed it in a fluid motion, like he caught spinning daggers of death everyday and this was all completly normal.

"Why is your blood red?" asked the boy, now leaning against the door just like the girl had done.

"I'm sorry?" My voice sounded all raspy, like I hadn't spoken for a while. How long had I been out? "What do you mean, why's my blood red? Of course it's red!"
